Checking in, ovulation apparently due tomorrow!

I am still shocked :)
I'm either 10 or 11dpo. Had very sore boobs from ovulation to now, and terrible acne when I don't usually get spots. All similar to period symptoms really!

What cycle number was this @HelloNope? Great to see it in writing!

We've being 'seeing what happens' since august but really 'going for it' since Jan! 😅
I actually think I could still miscarry due to my short luteal phase and possible low progesterone but I guess only time will tell.
I'm planning on waiting until Valentine's Day to tell DH but now I'm worried that if I start bleeding before then I'll be very upset and have to tell him everything. Not sure what to do!

@HelloNope ahh that’s amazing! So much better seeing it in writing isn’t it! I have a CB digital on order due for delivery! I haven’t even tested yet but I thought if I do, I’ll want to test the next day on one of these if I do get a line that I can’t make out! I didn’t realise the CB worked so early on! Ahh amazing!! So happy for you!!

@TheBirdintheCave You're right it is a bit daft, and we don't actually have any plans for it! I'll have a think about what to do.
I don't want to tell him today as he's going out drinking tonight and he will definitely tell someone! Haha

@Peonies94 It's a good idea to have one in the house for when you test, I had to go buy that one. I couldn't see where they were on the shelves so I had to ask the pharmacist and she kept saying "sorry I can't hear you, what?" In the end I said "WHERE ARE YOUR CLEARBLUE DIGITAL PREGNANCY TESTS?!"
Then everyone knew I was going home to pee on a stick.

I've just checked my Flo App and my luteal phase has either been 8 or 9 days since August, from what I've read 10days and over is good!

@HelloNope ahh that’s good to hear! I hate doing things like that too! But you got a positive so that’s amazing! Mine are due to arrive Saturday, so if I am negative this month I’ll keep them until a cycle I get a line I’m unsure about! At least I’ll have them here then. I’ve avoided them in the past as I’ll just pee on sticks all over the place, but I’ve found if I hide them in another room, I can’t reach them when I wee, so then can be avoided!!

I’d maybe tell him after his night of drinking! Maybe on the weekend or if you both have a day off of work together coming up, that’s what I’d probably do! Exciting though! You’ll have to let us know when and how you do it!

I have absolutely decided I’m testing Thursday! It’s going to be negative and is early days, but my thinking is :- I already feel like I am ‘out’ and by testing earlier I can break the news to myself gently, if you know what I mean? I’ll continue to test a few times then before AF is due! I need to stop putting my whole life on hold for this though, it’s been a year and I feel totally crazy and obsessed with it! I spend my life on MN and wishing and dreaming about everything pregnancy/baby related!!

@Peonies94 with both pregnancies I had no symptoms, I just tested a few days before I was due on. Definitely not out just because you don't have anything x

@Diamondbabe thank you! I think it’s just I feel really deflated, especially being officially a year since ttc! Started feb21! Each cycle I have imagined all sorts of symptoms and it’s come to nothing, so that could be a good sign I suppose! I’m just feeling really rubbish about it all today! I have everything crossed and I’ll test on Thursday! AF is due Saturday/Sunday!

I imagine symptoms too! Currently 6dpo and convincing myself I feel nauseated even though I know that’s impossible!

For me, sore boobs/cramps is more of a sign that AF is coming than pregnancy as I get that every month.

Feeling a bit weird about ttc this month, can't really explain it though. Back to feeling like it's never going to happen I guess, really think I'm out this month as I mucked up with OPKs so don't even know when/if I've O'ved

@kizzy97 that’s exactly how I’ve been feeling!! I did have the positive OPK and DTD around that time, however I’ never really know as sometimes I have 4 peaks a month! I also just feel like as it’s come to a year of ttc, is it ever going to happen? I need to stop thinking like this and going more positive though!

@Peonies94 Sorry you feel rubbish it must really be tough. I know you’ve also had a chemical already during this time. I know by a year in you’ve probably done everything you need to do but Just wondering have you had a general check up to rule out everything else like underactive thyroid. Will you consider going to GP to take meds to help you ovulate? I had a friend recently and she was fed up trying and I told her if it happened naturally fine but there’s nothing wrong with getting the ball rolling and looking at other things. She had a perfect blood test but wasn’t ovulating regularly, she had check ups done the needed scans and medication worked for her first round. I know it is a last resort for many people and she could well have got pregnant naturally eventually but I just advised her what I would do in her shoes as there isn’t any harm in speeding things up or at least getting some peace of mind through a scan. A lot of people also end up getting pregnant before their first appointment. Guess it is that typical phrase I hear of it will happen when you stop trying. All the best x

@Peonies94 this is only my 4th cycle, I'm up and down positive one minute and then negative the next like now. I might do an OPK later but it's more than likely going to be low as I've probably missed my peak. Dtd cycle days 7, 11, 13 16, 20 (yesterday) and will possibly again tonight. Normally have a 28 day cycle but had a 33 day one last month and when I last did an OPK on cd 17 it was still low so no idea what's happening!

What CD are you on now? When do you think you'll test?

@RosyappleA thank you just feeling particularly deflated today! Bloods come back fine, I have an internal scan next week then I’ll be referred to fertility I believe. It just seems to take forever waiting for each part of the process! I am more than happy to take anything if it means it’ll work quicker, just everything seems to take such a long time to just trying whilst we wait I guess!

Ahh sounds like your mostly covered! I’m cycle day 28 and I think I ovulated cd18 which is super early for me! Usually I ovulate cd30 or later! I plan to test on Thursday when I’ll be 9DPO with IC and continue each day until AF!
