Does anyone have that link to the website that gives information about the likeliness of a positive test at different DPO? I see it posted on MN often but can't find it from Googling! Wondering if I can move my testing date forwards - I was planning on testing on 25th which is the day AF is due but I've never held out that late before.

I have a friends birthday on Saturday 26th (a bottomless brunch - so lots of alcohol!) and I'm wondering if I will have wasted £50 to sit there drinking water out of a gin glass and pretending I'm drunk, or whether I'll be drowning my sorrows. Hmmmmm.

@TheBirdintheCave @QueenBee22 thanks both! He is the practical one - so I do think it’s what is best.
But I think I wasn’t ready to give up hope yet, we haven’t been trying as long as some, but longer than close friends. When my head is in a better place / I’ll be booking the tests 🤍✨
Until then, let’s see if AF turns up and pray she doesn’t! Thank you both for sharing experiences it’s made me relax somewhat x

@lottieb92 how long have you been ttc ? It can take up to a year for a 'normal' couple with no issues. If it's been longer I would say to go as soon as possible as there is a lot! Of waiting around on lists etc. And you can still try in the meantime. Fingers crossed you don't have to though! 🤞

Had my ultrasound today (that was scheduled before my bfp) nothing untoward found which was reassuring but didn't help source the reason behind the pain which hasn't gone away with pregnancy.

Also didn't do much for my anxiety as wrong settings and department to see Bean in there properly (and a bit early) but they could see a 5mm sac in the endometrium so hopefully that little sac keeps growing!!

So sorry to all those who haven't had good news this month or think they haven't done enough. If it helps we had given up this month and managed to catch so it's literally a lottery xxx

Twiddling thumbs on the TWW now! Had a chemical last month so not really sure when AF is due but somewhere around the 25th would be normal schedule. I guessed about ovulation going by CM and my gut feeling - so it’ll be a bit of a miracle if anything happens this month I think! Feeling a bit meh about it all after the chemical - I don’t want to test early, just in case it’s another false hope.

I am STILL awaiting AF. I've decided the body is a cruel thing! I tested two days ago and got a BRN. It was a FRER.

Today I've had no af cramps. Like I have the last few days. But sore boobs and incredibly tired and emotional. But my eldest is putting me through the ringer atm (he's 19, a a selfish twunt) so I did have a bit of a breakdown yesterday.

My last few cycles have been 24/25 days long. Tomorrow will make it 29... OH will be back at sea next month so that'll be two months of not trying. So I won't be opking whilst he's away!

@Nico89 glad they could see a sac. But sounds like they couldn’t find a cause for your pain? What’s the next step now?

@oldermam oh it’s so frustrating when that happens, I hope hope hope it means BFB and not just AF being late. That’d be so cruel! 🤞🏻🤞🏻 for you!

Update from me: I should be 6 weeks tomorrow, still bleeding/spotting. But still getting BFPs, had a dye stealer on an IC on Monday. I don’t know if to be reassured that I’m still getting BFPs or nervous about the bleeding.. called the EPU on Saturday; they said test again after a week and call if still bleeding but BFP so I will do that.

@oldermam that should read BFP not BFB!

@DancinOnTheCeiling Sorry to hear you're still spotting, that must be worrying :( Is there any way you could book an early private scan?

Thanks @TheBirdintheCave. Have a private scan booked for 7+1 but I’m hoping the EPU might scan me before then when I call them on Sat

@DancinOnTheCeiling next steps are back to GP and see what she says. She did say that often they never find the cause of pelvic pain but are happy to just rule out anything concerning.
The spotting must be a worry for you, but still getting bfp is reassuring. Do you still have other symptoms too?

I didn't end up testing this morning, DS woke up earlier than normal (he has chickenpox, I've had them before) and ended up wasting my FMU before I'd realised what I was doing 🤦‍♀️ so I'll test again tomorrow morning instead. In terms of my normal cycle af is due today and still no sign and no symptoms of pregnancy either. But if I ovulated when I think I did then I'm having a longer cycle this month and actually due on Saturday! But for all I know ai could have a shorter LP, my first month tracking ovulation so not 100% sure! I'm getting anxious again now as truth time gets closer, cycle #5 next cycle if this isn't it!

@DancinOnTheCeiling sorry you're still spotting, sometimes people have early pregnancy spotting and bleeding with no obvious cause but there's nothing wrong with the pregnancy! My friends mum didn't know she was pregnant until she was 7 months along because she was still having full periods! (Wasn't trying, conceived on the pill) hope this gives you a little peace of mind and I have everything crossed for you! Keep us updated xxx

Ended up testing with SMU and still BFN, think I'm out again this cycle

@DancinOnTheCeiling sorry the spotting hasn't stopped, but if you're still getting good lines, hopefully nothing too serious? Hope you can get an early scan with EPU.

@kizzy97 aww sorry it's another BFN, I think I'm out too as my temps are now dropping, so expecting AF in the next couple of days.

I had my blood results today which confirmed ovulation now in the dreaded two week wait!! 🤦‍♀️ xx
