Thanks everyone! I'm so paranoid! And I have an appointment on 24th Feb at gynae for further planning ... so just going to try and hold on to excitement a few more days... just incase! 🤞🤞🤞

@mightbeyesmightbeno congratulations!! everything crossed for a sticky bean xxx

Mariabombia · 10/02/2022 09:46

Hi all,

(Just posted this on the old thread)

Not been on here for a few days as I've been away for my birthday and unfortunately picked up covid along the way 😫

Currently CD7 but feeling really rough so no baby dancing happening at the moment . Anyone who's had covid experience anything different with AF and O the month they had it?

I've been having some pelvic pain since ttc and the pain increased a lot last month so my gp referred me for a scan & day 5 & 21 bloods doing. I've had my day 5 bloods but had to move my scan due to covid :( pain has definitely lessened but I can still feel it niggling away.

Due to catch up with my gp about my day 5 blood results next week but I've already had eyes on them through the nhs app. As far as I can tell I'm in the normal range for everything so that's a big relief!

I can't remember who I was talking to on here about scans but I do hope it went well for you?

Big congratulations to anyone on here who's had BFP this month 🙌🎉 !!!

TeddyBeans · 10/02/2022 09:54

@mightbeyesmightbeno I see it too, congratulations!

@Bundaberg84 I found some on Amazon that can be delivered by 10 tonight so hopefully can still test tomorrow 🤞 DS seems to have picked up over the course of the morning so I think he's likely to be negative but you never know

Tinkerbell098 · 10/02/2022 09:55

@Mariabombia yey you found us!

Hope you had a lovely birthday (before you caught covid). Hope the symptoms aren't too bad. I had covid last cycle, but didn't seem to affect my AF. I caught it just after my FW, so didn't have any impact on my O day last cycle, and haven't noticed a change this cycle so far. Hope it won't change your cycles.
Pleased that your day 5 bloods look normal. Annoying that you had to move your scan. When is it?
I had my scan last week. They started with an external scan on a full bladder and asked me to empty my bladder for an internal scan. The internal scan can feel a bit weird as they insert a probe through your vagina (not too high up, just touches the surfaces more or less). But it's not that uncomfortable, just a bit awkward. They said I was due to ovulate from my left side as she saw a dominant follicle about to pop. She said she can't give results there and then as it has to go through GP. I had the scan on Friday and results on Tuesday, so quite quick I should say. They found a fibroid, and I have to wait until I hear back from NHS fertility clinic to assess it, which can take long, so I've booked a private appointment next month to review.

Diamondbabe · 10/02/2022 10:26

@mightbeyesmightbeno congratulations! The lucky thread continues!!!! Xxxxx now get over to the October due date and join us lol x

Nico89 · 10/02/2022 10:53

@mightbeyesmightbeno I can see the line on both. Congratulations and everything crossed for a sticky bean!

@Mariabombia I have a scan also next Tuesday. I have told them that I've had a bfp and they are happy to go ahead so extra nervous now incase they don't see anything viable. But hcg levels look to be rising based on hpts and I've got symptoms also.

@RosyappleA no implantation bleeding when I would have expected it but today I have had a tiny bit of brownish stringy discharge which I'm assuming could potentially be remnant of implantation?

BH1926 · 10/02/2022 11:16

@RosyappleA no I haven't yet. Just extremely sore breast and been nauseous today.

@TeddyBeans oh no fingers crossed he's neg!

@mightbeyesmightbeno yay!! Congratulations 🎉

@Mariabombia I had covid during FW this cycle so did DH and as we still felt not too bad we did manage to dtd a few times. Only thing that changed was my O day was one day earlier but that might not of been related at all. Hope you aren't feeling to rotten with it ❤️

HelloNope · 10/02/2022 11:22

Hi ladies,
I've got what feels like a stitch on my right side under my ribs, it hurts if I breathe in deeply. It started when I was sitting down and I've had it for 1.5 hours now... should I be worried about ectopic pregnancy? I didn't have this pain with other DC.

Nico89 · 10/02/2022 11:36

@hellonope I think ectopic pain is usually felt low down or in shoulder. Under ribs on right side would be more likely liver, gallbladder or just intestinal but if its severe then I would call 111 or gp for advice xx

HelloNope · 10/02/2022 12:36

@Nico89 Thank you for replying, i will speak to my GP If it continues x

Bundaberg84 · 10/02/2022 12:51

@HelloNope no, don't worry about that. That is most probably unrelated to anything going on pregnancy wise. I have that sometimes, what you're describing, but it mostly disappears after one or two hours. If not, as @Nico89 said, call your GP.
But as for ectopic, you'd feel it - if at all - below your belly button. When the shoulder starts hurting, it might have ruptured and is an emergency. But most will start bleeding by then. Don't worry about that, chances are slim.

HelloNope · 10/02/2022 13:02

@Bundaberg84 Thank you 😊
It's nice to have reassurance. It is actually getting a bit better now I'm sitting down, hopefully it goes away.
I'll do some more reading on ectopic pregnancies as I clearly have no idea!

Cmac1890 · 10/02/2022 13:08

Hi all.

Some of you may remember I posted on 31st with positive ovulation stick....

Curiosity got the better of me due to some early symptoms which I had with other 3 kids.
Peeing loads and eating through the night... when I hardly eat normally. Well don't binge anyway.

So today took a cheap test and was very very faint only seen under a light.... went and got a first response and a digital cb ultra early test and omg...can't believe my eyes

@Cmac1890 congratulations!! Only 10 days into Feb and so many of us with bfps xx

TeddyBeans · 10/02/2022 13:21

Congratulations @Cmac1890!

Bringonbaby3 · 10/02/2022 13:34

Congratulations @mightbeyesmightbeno and @Cmac1890 so exciting to see more BFPs!!

8dpo here so getting close and trying to resist testing til Saturday.

I’ve got a horrible flu like illness so have been satisfying my testing urges with covid tests instead! Thankfully negative.

Can bad colds/flu affect chances of BFP? I have had fevers unfortunately :(

Purple29 · 10/02/2022 14:03

Congrats to everyone getting bfp's I'm hoping some of the lucky baby dust from this group gets to the rest of us!!!!

I feel a bit down today with it. Only on CD6 and already looking at due date calculators for if it works this cycle!!! Just torture myself!!

Tinkerbell098 · 10/02/2022 14:11

@Purple29 OMG I was doing the exact same thing like a minute ago haha! It is actual torture!

Decaffe · 10/02/2022 14:35

Haha I was doing that over lunch for my next cycle @Purple29 and @Tinkerbell098 - the answer is November 20th lol Grin

Purple29 · 10/02/2022 14:54

@Tinkerbell098 and @Decaffe thanks.... so glad its nit just me that does that!!! Mines would be the 11th!! 🤣🤣 here's hoping it's true for us all!!

TheBirdintheCave · 10/02/2022 14:56

@HelloNope Google precordial catch syndrome. What you describe sounds very much like this. I get it a lot. It's totally harmless :)

@Cmac1890 Congratulations! :)

BH1926 · 10/02/2022 15:10

Congratulations 🎉 @Cmac1890

MrsSamRowley · 10/02/2022 15:26

Congrats to all the new BFPs and fingers crossed for all the ladies still waiting - I'm CD2 so the TWW feels endless!

MrsSamRowley · 10/02/2022 15:26

That should be 2dpo not CD2!
