Hi all,

Currently 6DPO cycle 2 TTC. Anyone else fancy joining this thread who's in the same boat. We can chat and keep ourselves occupied whilst time sits still until we can test.....

Sorry to hear of your mc *@LMGH22* I had a mmc in October x are your cycle lengths back to normal now? I had a 42 day cycle last and really hoping it will be back to 30 now!

Sucks doesn't it! It took 6 weeks for AF to arrive and my body doesn't seem quite 'normal' yet. What used to be normal (sore boobs etc) isn't anymore. I've got terrible hormonal acne to go with it. How are you doing? I got another positive on the ovulation sticks today so I'm not sure what is happening. My poor husband just wants a day off 🤣

I got another BFN today at 8dpo. Will test again tomorrow but I have a very strong feeling I’m not pregnant this month

No don't be disheartened. I actually think testing at 8dpo is pointless. I'm going to hold off now til Friday (10dpo). Most common implantation day is 9dpo and then HCG needs time to rise so even 10dpo is a bit early for testing.

Let's wait til Friday and then if BFN at 12 dpo I will consider myself out for this month as I feel it should defo show up by then. X

I ovulated at a more normal time this month so fingers crossed!

Mines defo a dye run. No way a BFP could happen at 7dpo with diluted middle of the day urine. Defo just a fluke test I think. Will hold out til 10 dpo and do a frer

Ahh! Thanks for the reply on my pic. My husband is convinced it’s too faint. Will get some frers and do tomorrow/Friday. Really hoping it’s my rainbow

It looks a very good line for 9dpo to me. Wouldn't be darker til a good few days from implantation anyway. Prob won't be dark dark til day of missed period.

@Chattie89 thank you!! Me too lol I can hardly ever see them on people's line eyes posts so wasn't sure if I was deluding myself. Will do! Am going to test Friday morning with a frer and will hopefully get clarification then.

9DPO today. Negative Frer.

Had a few lightheaded dizzy spells yesterday and during the night I had some mild cramping. Hoping these are signs of implantation. Hoping to get a BFP on Sunday/Monday.

Hello, can I join? I'm 7dpo today. Just took a test which was obviously negative😂

Definitely don't advise testing early from my experiences. The reason I am is because I've had 2 MC and 1CP so now on medication, but it's private care so I turned part of it down due to cost and so want to find out as early as possible so I can have the medication I refused as soon as I know...!

This is my first month properly trying, hoping I get a BFP but not particularly holding my breath. I ovulated 5 days early for me but luckily noticed 3 days before as had a tone of EWM (sorry for the TMI) so quickly started on the OPK's!

4 DPO here but have a very short cycle so period is due 11 DPO. Same day I have my first fertility appointment so going to be a strange day. My GP has taken bloods this month also so waiting to see if any actual issues or if we just haven't quite gotten the hang of it after a year of half hearted trying! I think the short cycle is an issue so hoping the doctors will help with that.

Obviously everyone is different and my experience is just that, a tiny experience of a whole load of medical info out there. It doesn't mean at all this will be your experience or anything like that, but just wanted to say.

I also have a short 2nd phase of my cycle. Mine usually lasts 11 days, and I found the NHS just said "oh it's nothing, it's fine", but I'm pretty sure it cased the complications in my last MC.

I have found you have to be a very big self-advocate and really push to get the testing you need etc.

Since going private (which I realise is a total privilege, I am incredibly lucky that my work funded it), I have been prescribed progesterone from ovulation and I used it last month and it extended my second cycle phase to the normal 14days. Period was normal too and sometimes mine can be quite brown rather than red.

So i tested with fmu. Waited 1 minute negative. Didnt have time for to watch it. DH needs to work, baby waiting to be fed etc...

After breakfast went to check and found a line. Vvvvvvfl i think...

I would test again tomorrow as they aren't reliable after ten mins 😊 I can see a line though on one of the pictures

I forgot to come back here apologies, still waiting but I am not hugely positive this month will be the one. Hope everyone is doing alright and sure at least the January blues are almost over!

@mixedupchameleon We were also giving SMEP a go so had a few goes before ovulation, I think my partner was relieved it didn't go on for too long, definitely wasnt enjoying the pressure of the schedule!

Thanks for the advice @sundance21, I just got my first lot of blood tests back and the GP said there was an issue with progesterone levels so unlikely I ovulated this month. Lovely guy but I think the conception talk makes him nervous so he was clearly relieved I have someone else to speak to about it! I have my first appointment next week with the consultant so I'll find out more then. I also would be nervous of what you experienced, that there would be issues because of the short cycle.

Also.. Looks like a smidge of a line to me but I am clueless because I never even get to the FRERs

@SunDance21 can I ask what kind of medication? I've had two MMC and a chemical in the last 13 months of trying. Not sure what else I should be trying besides progesterone and aspirin while I wait for referral for the miscarriage clinic.
