hi everyone, i’m rhesus negative and my blood type is o- so when i was pregnant i had to have the anti d jabs. i had all of them through my pregnancy when i had little bleeds and the 28 week anti d but they still found antibodies in my blood. does this mean i won’t be able to have anymore babies in the future? when my midwife was explaining to me about the anti d jabs she said it was to stop me from getting the antibodies so it would prevent miscarriage in the future if i were to have anymore. my baby was b+ blood group, sounds like a silly question but i’ve all of a sudden started thinking about it because i would love more children in the future ):

I'm the same blood type as you.

The anti d injections given through pregnancy and once you've had the baby should mean you're ok to have more children.

I had antibodies in my blood at routine blood tests during my last pregnancy, when I queried it with the midwife she explained the test was most likely picking up the anti d that I’d had 2weeks previous.
So if you were close to having anti d then it might be that.
