Hi everyone! Sorry sorry for the long post but here it goes. First time ttc. Having some symptoms and I’m unsure of what they are. Previously on depo injection, had two and should have had last on the 5th October but chose not to. (Last was 5th July)
Few weeks had some creamy discharge, normal for me. Then a tiny amount of sticky/egg white around new year.
Two ovulation tests which came back with a faint line. No lines since.
Started a period on the 5th for 6 days. First bleeding since injection, was medium amount, some bloating and discomfort. Nothing major.
Nothing to mention till the 17th. I had couple of hours in the evening with bright blood, assumed I was having another period due to the injection withdrawal, hormones unbalanced. But it was like fresh, thin blood, with one clot which I found strange. Usually clots are in quite thick blood.
Then… between the 17th to today (21st) I’ve been getting a thick pink or brown discharge.
Throughout it all I’ve been feeling a more tired than usual, increased appetite (want to eat all the time!!!!), skins breaking out (acne prone anyway) I’m bloating easily and my breasts seem a little bigger.
Has anyone had these symptoms before? It’s the pink/brown discharge that’s confusing me. If it wasn’t for that I’d just assume it was my hormones trying to rebalance after depo. Only info I can find online about the thick pink and brown discharge links to implantation bleeding. But surely it’s too soon for that? I only had 1 week between my period and the new discharge. Could I be pregnant, I’ve done a test but coming up negative (maybe too early). I have no idea 😂 this is my first time trying to conceive but I’ve always been pretty aware of what’s happening down there and this is different. I’ve been on and off pills and the depo since I was about 14 (now 29) due to control controlling heavy periods. So I’ve always had the irregular periods after.
Anyway, again sorry for long post. What would you suggest. Do I ignore the discharge and wait for my next period, wait a week and test again, or do I need to speak to a gp. Thanks in advance 😊
