Faint line on Tesco test followed by negative FRER?

My period was basically just spotting this month so I took a Tesco cheapie to put my mind to rest and it came up with a super faint blue line (after the time limit).

The next day (today) I went out and bought some FRER's, didn't bother to hold my wee as my period due date has been and gone, but there was absolutely nothing on my test.

Should I believe the Tesco test that has a pretty clear, thick, blue line or the FRER which is supposedly the most sensitive on the market? I've had grey evaps on Tesco tests before but never one with colour which is really throwing me for a loop (also, it may not be super clear on camera but the line on the Tesco test is easily visible to the human eye)

If it was after the time limit you need to discount it. Maybe use Frer with FMU to be sure.

Most likely explanation is a chemical pregnancy. Sorry.

If the tesco didnt show anything in the time limit then I'd say its an evap and the FRER is real

I dont think it's a chemical, Tesco tests always show a faint blue line in my experience.

Thanks everyone for your input. I'm also doubting a chemical as these tests were taken with around 15 hours between them and I sincerely doubt that the (potential) HCG in my system that was enough to colour a Tesco cheapie would disappear to the point a FRER shows nothing in less than a day.

It's more than likely an evap, albeit a very convincing evap. I'll take another FRER in a couple of days just to be sure and if it's negative then I'm never using Tesco tests again, because this is just cruel.Sad
