I think I can see a line?!?!

I’m about 9/10dpo and have been doing ovulation induction (Menopur injections etc) but missed my last scan because I had Covid so I had no idea whether I’d actually ovulated this cycle or not.

This would be my second pregnancy (I had a MMC at 13 weeks in January) and I’m freaking out!! I can definitely see something (I think) but I think I’m doubting everything as I want it so much.

I’m not going mad - that’s a line, right?! I haven’t even told my partner yet. Sounds mad but I just wanted to be sure and not get his hopes up. A (very) nice Xmas surprise?!

OH I’m such an idiot 🤦‍♀️ I bet it’s leftover hCG from the trigger injection. Didn’t occur to me until a moment ago but I reckon I’ve just tested too soon! Ugh. I suppose I should wait a few days and test again to see if the line is darker/fainter? Any advice gratefully received!! Feel like a bit of a moose tbh x

I would leave it 48 hours and retest

Or better still leave it till the day your period is due

A little update for anyone who reads this thread in the future - if you trigger ovulation with an hCG injection, don't be hasty like I was and take a pregnancy test too quickly, as it can come up as a false positive!!

I did as a pp suggested and waited until 14dpo to test again and unfortunately it was clearly negative. My period arrived with full force the next day.

However... the next cycle appears to have worked and I got my BFP two days ago (and I was more sensible this time and waited the full two weeks after ovulation was triggered!) :)
