First month ttc.. who's with me?!

Hi guys! So I'm starting this thread because this is my first month ttc number baby 4 😊 my youngest is 6 so it's been a while! I'm 33 so that's another factor is age. I am currently on my predicted ovulation day with a af date of 5th jan 2022. Babydust to all ❤️

@ChaiLatte28 my o cramps were terrible this cycle too. Usually I just feel a pinching but I really suffered over Christmas time with them. My cycles are 27/28 days so I'm 4dpo today and due af 9th Jan but I won't hold out testing until then lol

@Ambi88 I'd be the exact same if I was off next week I'm glad I'll be back working from Tuesday! 😅 Fingers crossed for your FMU next couple of days 🤞🏼✨

@Dreamer30 same here!! Ah super similar cycle to me mine are 28/29 days! I can't imagine holding out either but I'm really going to try 😬

I'm not exactly trying to conceive (tracking cycle etc) but have come off contraception for the first time in forever.

I'm 33 and hopefully be my first. Trying not to get too excited!

Can I ask how long it takes for contraceptives to get out your system?

@Ambi88 @ChaiLatte28 omg the tww is the worst! I was grateful to be at families over Christmas without access to tests and I wasn't home until af arrived! You can do it haha!

@D0lphine I came off in August after 10+ years just to get my cycle to some sort of norm and I think they were after a few months - although I'm no expert!! It's so hard not to get excited isn't it!

@slmanc oh lucky I gave mine to hubby and told him strictly no tests until af is late 😂 im shaking already from withdrawals 😅

So iv tested again today 12dpo and bfn.. still feeling crampy and moody. I guess I'm out this month 😣

Sorry AF has arrived for you @Mollie5. Due for me this week & pretty confident it will be arriving as I’ve had BFNs & not many pregnancy symptoms at all.

@D0lphine It depends what contraception you were on. I had my implant out beginning of December and hormones are supposed to be out of my system straight away.

@Ambi88 @BlueSky57 @Mollie5 I'm sorry 😞.... I'm currently on my tww (10dpo) and it's torture, trying not to be obsessed but I am. I have sore boobs, cramping, nausea, fatigue and I've had really vivid dreams..
I think I'm just so aware of my body now!

Just an update all, I am still waiting for AF (5 days late) but my cheap tests are still showing bfn & I never even saw a hint of a BFP when I did the 2 FRER tests

I was taking the mini pill.

I've also been I'll this month and have taken antibiotics so I don't think it's likely to happen. I've got some of those early response pregnancy tests to take next week in any case.

Hi everyone! Can I join? Was part of November and December threads but have been very quiet for a couple of weeks now. Have had Covid the last week so just getting over that and after a very long 50 day cycle last month (1st one off the pill) I am feeling ready to go again on CD8. Started doing OPKs today but absolutely no idea when my peak will be or how long this cycle will be so taking each day as it comes!!

Hello ladies, how is everyone getting on? It’s been a while!

I feel incredibly lucky to be able to say I got my BFP on 13 days DPO, last Saturday. Still struggling to let it sink in, did another test yesterday and the line is really dark now so that was reassuring to see. I used the first response tests, backed up with a digital clear blue.

I held off getting my covid booster during my last cycle as the previous jab messed with my cycle so now I really want to get it but I’m now even more nervous to at the same time 😩 xx

@ChaiLatte28 I have read on a few threads it can affect your cycle but I'm sure it's fine to get it now that you have had your bfp!

We have started to TTC and I am CD 25 (think about 9-10 DPO). Took a First Response 6 Days Earlier test today and absolutely negative. Hoping this means I’m not out this month…

I have felt nauseous and exhausted but obviously now worried I have somehow made it all up in my head!

Anyone get a negative on 10 DPO but then a BFP?

If anyone has any BBT charts showing pregnancy, that would be amazing. I’m obsessing over a small dip (-0.13) this morning…
