Have had a look at your chart - is there only one? If so it's hard to say what's going on. Is there any explaination for the drop on day 9? Did you take your temp as usual or was it an odd day?
It could be that you haven't ovulated for some reason, but that can occur as frequently as once in 10 cycles in normal woman, so without other charts it's hard to be sure. The other reason migh be that ovulation has been delayed for some reason. Are your cycles regular? Have you had any reason (illness/stress) why you might have not have ovulated or ovulated late?
Charting is not foolproof though, so please don't stress yourself out about this

Is your thermometer working properly? Sounds silly I know, but remove most obvious problem first!

It is difficult without a few charts to compare. My immediate thought was that you may have had an anovulatory cycle (no egg released) which is not uncommon.

I am by no means any kind of expert in temping and I'm sure someone who is will be along soon but had a quick look and your actual chart looks like its following a normalish pattern but it is strange that your temps are exactly the same. Has FF drawn a coverline for you?

What type of thermometer are you using? Is it .00 or just .0? It needs to be to 2 decimal places to give a more accurate reading and has to be taken at the same time each day directly after waking (and pref after at least 3 hours sleep). Don't do anything else (get up, drink, talk etc) before you take it. Apologies if you already know this!!

Apologies - took so long to write my post that more knowleagable (sp.?) people had already come along and helped!!!!

hiya

thanks for the response.

well ff says i may have ov'd between cd9 & cd14 & that is when i had the pain in my side & ewcm so pounced on dh! I dont think ive ov'd this early before but then again i've not fallen pregnant all year so who knows and my cycles have varied from 21 days to 28.

I was however at my mums that night and the house is freezing but stayed there again this week and still got my same temp!

the increase im putting down to having a much needed drink the night before.

only just started with temping so only got this info. ive seen a couple of other peoples charts & they are up & down unlike me so started to worry.

Been ttc #2 all year so im building the courage up to approach gp in the new year.

thanks again

There had better have been an eggy this month after all that bd'ing! dh thought it was xmas day on cd9 - twice in one night & i ended up watching xfactor upside down (with bum in air & legs on sofa)pmsl!!!

sorry if tmi but i need to laugh about this every now and again or go insane.

what should i be looking to get from my gp if & when i do go?

Hi again. That bum in air, legs on sofa pose brings back memories. It took me a year to conceive my first and I had a miscarriage on the way. I did visit my GP after the miscarriage who told me that it is only in this country that we think that taking a year to fall pregnant is abnormal. He said in every other country he had practiced in they said it takes on average two years to conceive and they don't investigate until then. That is in a couple with no obvious problems (PCOS, endometriosis, irregular cycles etc), both healthy and young. So basically, don't panic and assume the worst but see your GP anyway. I would imagine that the first thing they would do is do a couple of blood/hormone tests throughout your cycle to make sure you are producing adequate hormone levels and would attempt to confirm ovulation.

I do remember how agonising and disappointing it is when you can't get pg. You spend years preventing it/worrying about it and then it turns out that it's not so easy after all.

Good luck to you.

BTW, the month I conceived my chart was all over the shop. I assumed I hadn't ovulated, chucked the chart in the bin and relaxed. Hey presto, I have a 7 month old dd to show for that 'weird' cycle. Also had no ewcm, no ovulation pain, nada.
