Hello loverly ladies, I'm not sure if I should be trying for a baby or not. And wonder what would you do in my place. Please share your opinion.

Here's my breakdown. I'm 35 and had a MC in March this year. It took a while to recover but feeling strong now. Starting new job in January and in order to qualify for full-paid maternity leave need to work for at least 6 months. I also have wedding booked on 17th of Aug (just two of us, no massive party). Would you try to get pregnant now or wait 6 months?

I'm thinking of not trying actively and just see what happens. However, it would mean only 3 months maternity leave (I'm the main bread winner) and most likely my partner would spend more time looking after the baby. And I would probably need to get married with a bump.

I'm reluctant to wait just in case it takes us much longer to conceive so don't want to lose time.

All opinions welcome!

Only 3 months maternity leave sounds barbaric to be honest, I’d wait 6 months I’m a similar age and similar situation. I’m waiting.

I would wait 6 months.
