…to help me feel delightfully optimistic that I’ll be feeling super better asap.

I’ve had both jabs sand was booked to have my booster tomorrow but had a positive LFT on Friday. I keep telling myself ‘just imagine how ill you’d be if you’d not been vaccinated’ but I’m feeling fucking awful.

Two of the DC have tested positive this morning (so goodbye nativity and medical appointments for this week). DH has a scary meeting this week where he might lose his job Sad and I’m worrying about caring for my elderly mother too.

I’d love it if anyone could tell me they recovered in record time when the had covid after being vaccinated Smile

Double jabbed, 2nd jab in June. Tested + on Friday. Feeling pretty crappy. Ringing ears, hot and cold, cough, pains in hands, runny nose and headache. Slept a fair bit. Had shower today and changed the sheets. Hope to be feeling more like myself in next few days.

I caught Covid in mid October, about 5 months after my second jab. I was in bed with flu-like symptoms for nearly two weeks and then had crushing headaches and fatigue. Thankfully I haven't had any chest or breathing problems. I keep thinking I'm getting over it and try to go back to work, but then have to take more time off as it comes back to bite me. I am improving but 8 weeks in I'm still getting headaches and am very tired. Although I am prone to migraines with flashing lights, I haven't had any since getting Covid.
