Recurrent miscarriage advice

Hello. posting in case it helps anybody going through something similar. I had my first son quite easily but when trying for a 2nd child had 2 very early miscarriages (5/6 weeks) over 2 years. getting pregnant was slow and then when it finally happened having a miscarriage. After the 2nd one we saw a fertility dr for the standard tests. no issues detected and, after paying £400, we were told it would likely happen for us soon. After another year we decided to try ivf as time wasn’t on our side. Luckily we got a few embryos of decent quality. The best quality embryo was transferred and the pregnancy test was positive but hormone levels low, so another chemical/very early miscarriage. We didn’t want to transfer our other good quality embryo without further tests into the recurrent loss. We had an online appointment with dr mohiyideen at nova fertility - the prices are loads cheaper than other fertility clinics and she left no stone unturned, suggesting possible reasons that others hadn’t. Just before the embryo transfer she suggested taking antibiotics for possible endometritis which is an infection of the womb lining which is often asymptomatic and a cause of recurrent miscarriage. Whether it was the antibiotics or the peace of mind, the transfer was a success and my son is now 6 months old. I came on here a lot looking for answers and shared experiences so hopefully this will help someone. I would recommend making an appointment with nova if you’re struggling .
