When you don’t think about your days as “Monday Tuesday Wednesday” you think of them as “fertile week” or “CD12” we know the feeling.

We’ve tried baby dust (back in early 2020 I think we stopped believing in that!?, we’ve tried chocolate/pizza & sofa sex (remember that? Late 2020, that got a lot of babies!) and now we are onto manifesting, testing, pleading & yet there’s still some unwanted bleeding🤣😂well tough titties we are here to stay til we get those BFPs🤞🏻🙌🏻we just need to rinse out our foofs & get the nurses to wade through our stocking full of old sperm 💦

Whether you are TTC “normally”, IUI/ivf or anything we are a crew that cling together to the bitter end & always ready to help a sister out. We’ve had multiples, some losses so know two lines can be just as terrifying as none, and we’ve got ladies where those two lines are more illusive than a white Christmas 🎅🏻

It costs an embarrassing story for your ticket, doesn’t have to be TTC related as we know laughing when TTC is needed.

Okay so, I'm gonna do my back story for any newbies or anyone who needs some hope and baby dust...

I'm 24, OH is 31, TTC our first since I came off the pill end of January 2020, so it was coming up to 2 years, both had initial tests, all mine came back normal, OH's SA came back with normal count and motility but lower than average morphology at 1%, we have our first phone app with the fertility clinic on Monday, and funnily enough I got the appointment through yesterday and yesterday at night I got my first positive?? Haven't done anything different this time, just been taking folic acid and I've been wearing fluffy socks in bed (not sure how accurate that is but saw a few people say warm feet were good) and OH has been taking in more vit C, symptoms wise I've had period cramps since what I think was 7dpo and I just thought af was coming early, on Monday I had really bad indigestion and felt sick and had the shits but felt fine by Tuesday morning, I just presumed it was the 3 jaeger shots I'd had on the Sunday at the christening🙄 so yeah that's my story!! I honestly thought we'd need help and treatment especially by the 2 year mark, so if anyone needed any positivity or hope for their journey, this is it🌟🌟

@Vil10 😂 I actually took my BFP test after having the shits back in April! I don't know why I chose that moment but it wasn't normal for me to have any bowel issues and it was around my usual AF time with absent spotting too so just grabbed one and was ready to bin it as you do every other month and then saw it. I changed nothing on the month I got it too (except for cutting out that rotten grapefruit juice), similarly all that was going on was I got my fertility appointment confirmation through! I'm so pleased for you and looking forward to seeing more tests as the days/weeks pass 🙌

@paintfairy I said to my sister "typical I'll have to hide this through the most alcoholic time of the month" however, trying not to think too far ahead and get ahead of myself but I'd be 8 weeks on my mums birthday and would want a scan at 8 weeks so would love to be able to tell her on her birthday but I see her everyday and she knows about our tests and appointment and stuff so not sure id be able to keep it a secret until then!! I've decided I think I'm going to tell OH tonight when I get home, I wanted to tell him with a digital though but think my wee will be too diluted by then!

Right so I came off the pill a month after @vil10 so I'm scheduled for an xmas bfp right? 🤔 not to mention now everyone is praying for the shits and going to spend the tww doing shots 🤣

Could you ring and postpone it @Vil10 - say something has come up at work or something?

@Vil10 our appointment wasn't that close so I was able to wait for weeks before cancelling it. As yours is Monday I would agree with @larrythelizard and maybe just try to reschedule. Hopefully all will be fine but I know it would be so upsetting if anything happens in the coming days/weeks and you end up needing that appointment again but are back to square one.

Basically all the long haul destinations are practically zika moderate risk areas so advised against travelling (I had no idea the risk was still high) so going to look to change to something more suitable and less fly time so thank you ladies :) it’s been booked since 2017 so I actually never considered anything like it and only being postponed so many times because of COVID! I actually didn’t realise in men especially they should abstain/wear protection 3 months after travelling from these hotspot places 🙈
