DTD TTC - Morning/Night?

Does it make a difference whether you dtd morning or night during the fertile period? Ive always dtd at night but wondering if doing it in the morning would make a difference?

It will make a difference but I think it's almost impossible to tell what is best as you cannot predict ovulation with enough accuracy to work that out or know how fast the swimmers are going

We did every day cd7-13 and twice a day cd12/13

@toadstool32 What's your cycle length? X

25 days so quite short. It worked though first time and now 24+3. It was exhausting though!

I read that sperm regenerates over night and dies across the course of the day so morning is better! We never did that though! No time with kids around! 😂 x

Currently pregnant with baby number two and we never DTD in the morning due to never having the time! We also only DTD three and two days before ovulation...

You've got this!

Thanks ladies, interesting. We were dtd pretty much everyday last month and I was a bit disheartened that I didn't get pregnant. But we'd always do it at night. I've also read somewhere that you shouldn't dtd everyday - more so every other day because the concentration of sperm gets weaker. I've got no idea how true this is, but I guess it wouldn't hurt to try! X

We also DTD twice a day around ovulation, but semen can survive inside you for 5 days, so I don't think it massively increases the chances.
