If your cycles vary in length, when do you test for ovulation?
I'm taking part in research looking into recurrent miscarriage so need to test for ovulation for the first time in my life! I've been sent 4 ovulation tests and a sheet advising me when to start testing, based on cycle length.
However, in the last couple of years my cycles have ranged from 25 to 32 days with three pregnancies (and subsequent miscarriages) thrown into the mix too.
If I base testing on my shortest possible cycle length, I should start using the ovulation testing strips this Friday (CD10) but based on my longest length cycle, I'd then run out of tests long before ovulation!
Does anyone have any suggestions?
I've been pregnant 8 times (2 babies, 6 losses) but I've never done anything like this before as I always get pregnant within a couple of cycles of stopping contraception. (And I don't say that in a smug way as obviously it's not much help when I end up miscarrying later down the line!)
Any advice greatly appreciated.
