Are FRERs known for fake positives / indents / evap lines?

Last week I got a faint line one morning on a FRER. However, a test later that day was negative, as was one the next morning. Since then, my period arrived two days early and has been unusually heavy, and there were quite a few clots.

Recently there have been some ‘squinter’ threads and people have posted pictures of FRERs that looked just like my faint line. These posters have then gone on to get stronger lines.

I suppose what I’m asking is, what is more likely? That my faint FRER was faulty, or that perhaps we did create a blastocyte but it didn’t stick and so actually I’ve been having a very early loss?

@Bloose it is very hard to tell. I think the recent indents/evaps look very similar to vary faint early positives which is annoying when you want to know if you have suffered a chemical or not.

I was getting faint lines for 6 days on FRERS so I went for a blood test at the doctors which confirmed my beta level was less than 1. So in my instance, they were just indents/evaps.

However. If you have had some which were positive and negative, it could be a chemical. They are extremely common. We're your FRER tests all from the same batch?

No, the positive test was from one box and then the two negatives were from another box.

It is so hard to tell!
