So the dreaded 2 week wait begins and really would like some cycle buddies while we wait Smile

Little back ground, I am 36 and we have been trying for about 10years, can't get any help from the nhs for investigation etc because I am over weight (I keep trying and failing). I have insulin resistance PCOS and under active thyroid.

I have only been lucky enough to get pregnant once in 10years back in 2019 but sadly lost the pregnancy at 7 weeks.

Sadly mentally it's been a huge struggle, but I have my prescribed meds increased (metaformin etc) and taking a number of supplements. And for the first time since my periods began I have had 2 cycles that exactly the same length in a row, so the meds must be doing something!

Would love to get to know some others and your fertility journey 😀

I remember someone telling me the absolute minimum should be 8dpo to give hormones a chance after implantation

Okay my cycles have been a bit hit and miss recently. I had my1st covid vaccine in june, and my period was 3 days late (I wasn't trying then). July was normal, then I had Covid early August and my cycle was 33 days (longest ever) - so think ovulation was delayed.

I genuinely have no idea where I am with anything lol.

Hi @beanchopper17 thanks for the advice! I’ve been using Flo as that helped me get pregnant with my dd, but I might try those you have suggested.
Super disappointed as AF has just decided to make an appearance so I am out again this month! 😢 definitely going to give OPK’s a go from next month.

Chivari · 28/09/2021 16:26

Sorry your cycles have been all over the place @dorris88

beanchopper17 · 29/09/2021 07:21

@Chivari between opk's and the app it will make tracking so much easier for you. Just remember with opks it's better to take them in the evening and you don't have to hold your pee (like you do for a pregnancy test).

Well 14dpo, BFN, no signs of af! Very deflated! I honestly thought we had done everything we could this cycle! 🤦🏼‍♀️
