Late ovulation = bad eggs?

Hello
I've just read online that if you ovulate late, you are less likely to fall pregnant due to the egg not maturing properly and therefore less likely to implant...
Does anyone know if this is true? I sometimes ovulate around CD31 so I'm definitely a late ovulater and now I'm really worried.

I haven't heard that before but haven't looked into it in years as my family is now complete. I conceived 4 times on first or second month of trying. I usually ovulate between day 21 and 24 but have been known to be later. Two did end in miscarriage but that wasn't necessarily due to egg quality. I think I conceived very quickly as I knew when I would ovulate despite it not following a conventional schedule.

I haven't heard that. I thought if your luteal phase is normal - longer than 10 days - it doesn't really matter how long your cycles are.

I've read the opposite. If you ovulate early the egg is less likely to be mature, which makes more sense to me.
