Hoping for a test buddy 🙏🏻

So was due on today and haven't come on. However yesterday I had a pink discharge - tmi sorry!! But totally unusual for me. Expected to be in full flow. Had some backaches and felt a bit crampy but then nothing. According to my calender we bd on 19th. I thought I O on 17th but maybe not as AF not arrived. And I didn't use opk this month either. Does anyone think that could be an implantation bleed?

Also I tested at what I thought was 12 dpo and was negative so 2 days ago. If it was implantation how long would it take to get hcg in urine??

@Melabells I'm really sorry your going through some sadness. Could they do an internal scan at your local EPU?

@Fairy45 I think I read HCG doubles every 48 hrs.. So if you only had pink discharge today, it could still be implantation which wouldn't lead to full positives until 48 hrs after today? X

Thanks @Hope18 I was thinking maybe test on weds that would give 5 days but I know full well I won't be able to wait that long so might do one on Sunday! Feeling a slight glimmer of hope this month!

Ladies thanks so much for your kind words. I've started bleeding tonight as de suggested would happen. I'm just going to take some away to try and heal ❤️thank you all hopefully we will be back in a few months

@Hope18 thank you so much for asking. I'm doing good. I've really strong cramping which I had with dd . I did a digi today to confirm. I'm so baffled . Af isn't due for days and I'm 100% of ov. My hcg levels seem very high🤷🏻‍♀️. How are you ? X

@Melabells take your time. Its a hard process to go through and definitely talk when your ready too. When me and my husband lost our first pregnancy we struggled to talk to each other.. But you definitely need to find someone.. Even if its just one person, or us guys on here ❤️ don't keep your feelings cooped up.. I wish you all the best in the next few weeks.. Try and stay comfortable ❤️

@90mamabear omg, if your days away from AF and a digital is picking it up, what if your having twins!!

@Hope18 we are really beginning to wonder the same thing . I've went back on my chart and that first strong pos was 9dpo. I've a 14/15 day luteal phase that's the bit of my cycle is regular and I know my day of ov wirhin 2 days 100% as I have a machine tests hormones . My af is 100% not due to 5th 6th oct. and we also didn't bd before so we are 100% . I took a test today that says ur hcg has to be 25 or something for pos and not to take until missed period as it won't show on this cheap type test. I did it deliberately as I'm already feeling nausea and it was positive. So I Genuinley am very suspicious !!😂😂😂😂😂

Update from me - been waiting for a negative test since I had a bleed on 10th September and EPU said I likely had an early MC, still testing positive… I was told if I was still positive a week after the last check at EPU to ring them back, I did that yesterday and they asked me to go in. I had blood test again and HCG was 64, so only a slight rise from the previous week which was 43. They said it will still be the hormones coming out of me and their advice from the previous week that it was an early MC still stands. I would have been prepared to accept that, however there’s doubts in my mind due to a few things. We DTD on 15th and 16th September, could this be another early pregnancy? How high should my HCG levels be now if that were the case? The strip test I did yesterday was very positive immediately, the strongest yet. I still feel different, I know hormones can have that effect though…

They told me to wait 3 weeks and do another test and if it is still positive to come back for a scan. I wish they had scanned yesterday again although I know it would be too early to see much if it was a new pregnancy. No real bleeding since 10th September, just light brown discharge when I wipe at times. It’s very hard when everything is still unknown and they don’t even really know for sure.

@Melabells so sorry to hear what you are going through, it’s so tough and I know how you are feeling. Make sure you take the time to take care of yourself and do things to take your mind away from this. I’m going to see the new James Bond film at the weekend as a distraction from everything for a bit x

@ShellUK09 I am not an expert in this area. But I really think a very early miscarriage your hormones would either be a bit lower or else well down by now which is why I ask . I would be suspicious too of what you are thinking. Have you any abdominal pain or anything untoward or pregnancy symptoms? X

@ShellUK09 just seen there was another part to what you had written - sorry. I am very very suprised at this stage you Havnt had a scan. Usually a scan would be completed to rule out an ectopic pregnancy . Have you had any scan? It's unusual that the hormones have risen also . Have you another hospital you could speak to ? Or could you book for a private ultrasound (I know it's not possible for everyone ) I hope you don't mind me suggesting. I would love for you to get some clarity :( x

@90mamabear yes I had a scan last week, they did the normal scan and then they did an internal scan too. Couldn’t see anything to suggest ectopic. She did take a long time doing the scan so I’m hoping that was ok, she couldn’t see anything to suggest a viable pregnancy though. I’m not in any pain just the odd twinge either side where my ovaries would be, I have had bloating, need the toilet all the time, still having vivid dreams and wake up with a slight sick feeling which seems to fade once I get up. I think I’ll do what they suggest and will call them again in 3 weeks, which seems an age to wait, but will also keep testing once a week. Thanks for your concern and advice x

@90mamabear thank you 💕 yes we have all been on a rollercoaster. For me it hasn’t even been for long as we only started seriously trying in July but it feels longer because most of it has been a confusing waiting game x

@ShellUK09 praying it’s a new pregnancy for you especially as your hcg has risen however I didn’t get a neg test after my mmc for 4-5 weeks. It’s such a long time to wait I would call your gp in a few days and ask for a scan x

Bit of a weird one here! I took a test 2 days ago which was very much a bfn. Had some light brown bleeding two days ago and thought I was out. Bleeding stopped completely and I’ve just done an frer (no hold and was just now at like 1pm coz I have a poas addiction) and it’s a very very faint positive. I mean so faint it won’t show up properly on my camera. Im 8/9 dpo.
I’m sure it’s just a fluke/evap but now I’ve run out of tests 😂😂

@90mamabear my ‘I won’t test until a miss a period’ lasted about 24 hours!

@MrsMo21 ah interesting, test in a few days to see if it turns darker, if you can wait that long! Hard I know, I'm running out of tests too x
