Success stories with progesterone pessaries after multiple chemicals please??

Hiya!
I’ve just had my 4th chemical since January. I’m charting which indicates I am ovulating and I do have a slight temperature rise after ovulation, so no known progesterone issue that I know of?
I usually lose the pregnancy a day or two after a positive pregnant test/missed period so really really early. But it just keeps happening!
Just spoken to a private consultant who has prescribed me progesterone pessaries to try for 3 cycles.
I wondered if anyone had any success stories of similar please or any helpful advice or knowledge to add on the subject?
Thanks so much for reading

@WillowTree0721 11dpo is still very early is it possible that could be the reason for the low hcg result? What has the nurse said?

I know how you feel, this was my 5th. But with this one I reached 9 weeks unlike the others which were around 4/5 weeks so I had hope and excitement. This one has hit me very hard. I obviously stopped the pessaries once the scan confirmed the baby had stopped developing but I understand it’s too early for scans at the moment for you.
Wishing you the best of luck x

Hi @WillowRose1411 Thank you for replying again. My urine pregnancy tests turned negative in the end so I knew it wasn't progressing. I stopped the progesterone 2 days ago and I'm just waiting for my period to start now. Im hoping it's not too delayed. I'm considering getting some private tests done as I've been told I won't be referred on the nhs for further investigations until I've had 2 more losses as they will only count the MMC i had back in July at 11 weeks. They said chemicals aren't included. Im finding it so frustrating because in my eyes I've had 3 consecutive losses 😞
I hope you are doing ok x

I’m so sorry @WillowTree0721 That’s really unfair and frustrating, 4 of mine were technically chemicals and I’ve been referred to the recurrent miscarriage clinic. I’ve had private tests already and know I have low egg reserve but can’t afford many more tests privately so hoping the nhs can offer some help. It’s still technically a loss your body made an embryo and it implanted but didn’t stick. That’s really frustrating maybe just keep on at them or keep trying different doctors until you find the right one? I’ve been lucky and found a really supportive one but know they aren’t all as understanding!
Wishing you all the best of luck. Feel free to message me privately and maybe we can try to connect somehow?
Laura x
