Has anyone had a hysterosalpingography?

I'm booked in for one this week and have had no explanation except for being told that it is not pleasant. Can anyone give me a bit more detail of what happens, how uncomfortable etc. it was + if you found it helped with ttc?

oh hon sorry I couldn't come on yesterday and tell u, it felt like i needed a good poop lol, I have the all clear as well thou so that's good at least. and my blood count is normal so hopefully a month or two and I should have a beanie of my own!

thats fab news munz. have you been ttc for long and are you in time to try this month, was told not to have unprotected sex before procedure and as had it done day 11 it was b4 my ovulation day. My dh going away on day 15 so gonna ttc as much a can b4 that and hope get lucky - lots of luck for you too

we're on CD 11 now (only BD once as I wanted to wait for 24 hrs after the op b4 doing anything) only BD once so far, but DH is willing to have 3 goes today then once tomorrow/tuesday (might go for twice on both days actually) I sooo want this baby, we've been TTC for just on a year, althou he's been away for 5.5 months of it. it feels like the longest time since I stopped the pill. have u looked in our new thread it's called www.wewantaspringbabynow.com u're more than welcome it's in the conception boards.

well if it is, get him on the zinc tablets! lol, (we did cheat a bit with DH's test cos he was allowed to bring the pot home so we BD every other day for a week b4 hand left it for 2 days then he did the test) he got a 32 mil result so he's more than happy with that as when he was younger he was tld his was below average and we'd have problems but it all seems to bein order now and average.

hmmm interestingabout zinc got some downstairs given to me by a customer hmmmmmmm dh are you there got some little tablets for you to take.

lol, I was thinking about crushing them and mixin it up in DH's food cos I know he won't take tablets but as it was we didn't need them, I do have a friend thou who's DH took zinc and they started health eating plan fruit veg all organic etc.. loose boxers no hot baths and things have taken a vast improvement for them with his swimmers. so good luck with it.
