Hello lovelies

hope you are all well.
Me and my fiance have been TTC for 10 months now. We succeeded on first round August last year but i had a mc a few days after finding out i was pregnant. We have been trying since and never got pregnant again until May this year but i had another mc. I might have to call them chemical pregnancies.
I am 33 yo and my fiance is 30. Although i was diagnosed with PCOS at 15 i have very regular periods . 30 days on the dot and for what i can feel and know i ovulate on day 15 every month. I use opks and i have strong pains and discharge.
We went today to a fertility clinic in London and he went for a semen analysis and i did blood test for the antimullerian and an internal scan.
Now we have to wait a week for result and consultation.
All i know is that i have on CD 2 (it was a very messy scan, im so sorry for the lady) 33+ follicles on left ovary and 26+on right ovary and also some ovulation liquid left in my right ovary so she reckoned i ovulated from my right.
I know that so many doesn't sounds good. She said she couldn't say anything because she just takes measurements but she said all looked good sizes wise, cavities, cervix, uterus etc and that i only have 1 cyst which was a cervix cyst that is normal and common and comes and goes.
Im not sure what PCOS is doing to me since i have such regular periods but i know that too many follicles are a bad sign. They actually can release too much hormone at the beginning of pregnancies which results in miscarriage so im not surprised i had 2 in a space of a year (that i know anyway).

has any of you had such a huge number of follicles and was fine? im terrified to hear from the doctor on Wednesday as we cant afford IVF atm but im so tired of BFN and chemical pregnancies. We have no children and getting married next year.
All of this and im not even thinking about eggs count, that could easily come back to like, 3 to 4 eggs ...

Sorry for your loss. I don't have experience of PCOS, but have had 2 rounds of IVF myself (unfortunately 1 unsuccessful, 1 MC and a further 2 MC's prior. Also no kids).

Have they referred you to an endocrinologist in addition to the gynae? What did they say at the time? What are the next steps? Sorry I can't help, but a hopeful bump at least.

Hi there darling,

I am so sorry for your loss. I have PCOS as well, but I haven't experienced your troubles, but I am ttc with IVF.

I would say at first wait for the doctor's apointment and then you see how you proceed. I know the waiting is hard and stressful but focing on each step will help you in the long run.
Good luck and keep us posted!
