TTC at age 22 - just had implant out

Hi everyone this is my first post. So I am TTC at age 22, I live with my boyfriend, we've been together 2 years & have lived together for over a year - we privately rent a 2 bed flat together & both have decent jobs. I am just desperate for a baby & have been for most of this year Sad.. my boyfriend wants a baby too.

So I had my implant removed last Tuesday (22/06/21) after having it in for 2 years & 10 months. I bled for 3 days starting from 3 days after removal (25/06/21) despite having a period from the 14/06/21 to 18/06/21. Is this normal? I'm now off my period and am doing ovulation tests daily. Can anyone offer any advice at all?? I have never been pregnant and have been on birth control since I was 18/19 so how long would it take for me to fall pregnant?

Sorry if that was a bit confusing, thanks everyone Smilexxx

I'd say that sounds completely within the realms of normal. Your body needs to find it's natural rhythm.

No one can know of course how long it will take - some people are surprisingly quick, others take a long time. Fingers crossed for you OP!

Hey! I'm 23 so not much older than you - had the implant for 7 years so much longer.
I have had it out almost a year now and still TTC.. finding it really difficult personally but I wonder if it's due to the time my body has had with the implant, and it's now trying t regulate itself?
It's a strange one. I hope you get a sticky little bean soon! 👶 ❤️✨

Good luck! It is perfectly normal to take up to 12 months to conceive.
