Hello,
I had my DS 6 weeks ago via emergency c section. I'm exclusively breast feeding him. My husband and I had unprotected sex twice at 4 and 5 weeks PP. I'm now over thinking about the possibility of being pregnant. Has anyone got pregnant so early since a c section and whilst breast feeding? TIA

No me personally but I know women who have.

You need to be using some form of contraception if you don't want to be pregnant again so soon

Definitely possible. The only way you will know is if you take a test and I hope you get the answer you're looking for, either way.

If it is negative and you don't want to conceive, make sure you are using protection. It takes a long time for your body to heal after an emcs. I'm almost 8 months pp and my scar is still red and healing.

After my first child and first section it took 9 months for my periods to come back and nearly a year to conceive. I also exclusively breastfed then. We would like another baby but are not trying as it's very recent. I honestly didn't think it would be possible by how my fertility and periods were after my first. I bled for a whole month after my latest section so didn't think I'd be ovulating either

There are increased risks not only to the mother but also to the baby of having babies so close together. Pre-term birth, preeclampsia, chronic hip pain that can last for decades after birth where the bones have had to soften and move very quickly without healing from the first time.
