Welcome back to the bus where anything goes, hop aboard, tell us about you & we’ll be here for you (there’s a song in there somewhere!).

This bus has a growing bunch of gorgeous black and white springy pups on board, tortoises & 2 feisty little kittens so bring your pets and pictures are obligatory 🤗.

We’ve got TTC happening in many different forms, shagging conventionally, unconventionally, with the help of scientific intervention, IUI/ICSI/Clomid/IVF & even just watching from the top of the bus 👀. It doesn’t matter if you’ve been trying for days, weeks, months or like some of us we’ve been around each other for so long we can’t bear to leave, nothing is TMI and there’s never a silly question...

Hell we KNOW TTC is tough, lots of us have had heart ache & are chasing 🌈so we are there for each other, as well as trying to have laughs along the way 🥰☺️

I'm tired after ending up sleeping with DS last night and fucked off at some work stuff so tired and grumpy today. On video calls already and have a really itchy boob

So over this cycle, it's all been so messed up that I'm assuming no chance of pregnancy so just need AF to arrive at the weekend and start all over.

@franklydear hate when DH and I fall out, hope your day gets better. We had a bit of a to do last night because we had some tiles replaced on the roof, and I was on my own when the roofer came and the roofer properly gave me the hard sell and said that there was no felt under the tiles so the whole roof would need re doing at a cost of circa 5k. I've looked into it, our house is 1930s and that is how they were built so it's not hugely urgent but it's made me worry, so we argued because I'm worried and feeling pressured to get it done and DH doesn't think it's worth bothering with for now. Men!!!

@Kirky658 don't worry about felt is only a second line of defence, not all houses have felt plus is can cause issues with condensation in some instances. Just replace the couple of defective tiles with another roofer that doesn't have the hard sell!

After chat with DH over the weekend, we decided to call private fertility clinic this morning. Rang at 8 and by 10, all questionnaires, tests, SA pot in the post 😳 and appointments sorted. I'm impressed, I mean it means we'll be having no holiday this year (not that we can go anywhere anyway) but it feels super organised and has eased my anxiety slightly.

Wow that's efficient @bez91. It's a good year to do it as, like you said, it's not like you can really go on holiday!

Thanks for the comments on the roof too, ours is a 1930s house and seems it's very common to not have felt lining. DH gonna get in the 'hatch' - too small to call a loft - tomorrow to check there's been no damage in the storms lately otherwise we will gjust get the tiles done as and when we need. He charged us £50 yesterday for 2 tiles so realistically we would have to have the tiles replaced 100 times over before it would cost the same as having the whole roof re done!!

All covid free at this end, which wasn't a surprise we knew it was just a cold. Was very impressed with the speed of the results tho as we had them back by 8am this morning.

There's been a change at work which means my team will fail which is bad but I've found a promotion in another team to apply for which is good but now I have to tell my boss who's an incredible supportive kick ass lady...not looking forward to that conversation but needs to be done!

I told my parents about the pregnancy, and tomorrow, I got the expected result (hmmmmm oh right). So left it at that til dad asked more & I told them stuff and concluded by saying "you've been so negative why would I tell you stuff? I need positivity atm and you don't give me any". I did get told "of course they hope tomorrow is positive" and I know practically speaking they are always willing to help but again getting nothing emotionally. But it just left me empty inside. No "wow that's amazing" no congrats just hmmmmm and a "well it's what you wanted".

Later in the day I had a telephone appointment with the endocrine antenatal consultant who I saw in a complete state last year having just found out there was likely no growth after my scan...do you know what she was amazing. So nice, I was smiling in the phone call to her, she said "I remember you & in your notes here it says you've been going for ivf so tell me about it"... and she was fantastic but understanding about me being worried etc she was so lovely.

I'm quiet because as expected from my parents I got nothing & obviously tomorrow so yeahhhhh mehhhhhh

Evening all! AF has been kicking my arse, this is the first day without pain, which is nice, only another couple of days to go before I'm freeeeeee. (It lasts 7 days for me) Decided not to stress about TTC this month. Between my prolactin levels and his slightly lazy sperm it feels like there's no point trying 🙈😂

@larrythelizard sounds like a tough conversation ahead but you gotta do what's right for you

DD has been a monkey, steroids fixed her yesterday then this morning she was rubbish again so another dose of steroids it was!
She's asleep, we had a roast dinner which I told her was special ham and she said 'no that's chicken' 😂 she is actually nearly 2, going on 20!!!

@Minster2012 friends are the family we choose, and you’ll never ride of us, my mum is like yours, so I never tell her anything
It looks like ‘we’ are symptom spotting, app is guessing 6dpo, maybe, I had 3 days ewcm around then, creamy cm, some pulling cramps, sore boobs but not big and peeing every 2 mins... lingering headache but very dull, and according to dh, a fiery temper

@Minster2012 that sucks I'm not sure why they wouldn't be upbeat. I can understand if as parents they are worried it could put a strain on your health being pregnant etc but you're fine and strong and it's not their decision. I had hoped them hearing it wasn't IVF you had went through again and that it was natural that they would have been happier especially since it feels like a miracle. You just have to forget them for now! Hopefully they will soon have a change of heart. At least you know there's lots of other people extremely happy and excited for you! 🙌
