Hi all

This is my 10th month TTC with no avail.
I have been going back through my TTC log chart where I input my 'ovulation' date and when my periods begin, and I've noticed I seem to only get between 10-13 days after 'ovulation' before my period starts again.

Could this be classed as a short lutheal phase?

I don't understand why I'm finding it so hard to fall pregnant when I'm doing absolutely everything possible to make it happen!

Any advice or experience would be great.

Thank you. X

I'm not sure that can be classed as a short luteal phase I'm afraid OP. Mine is normally 10-12 and I got pregnant after around a year of trying. I'm back to the drawing board after a mc but I don't think you need to worry about a luteal phase problem yet. If you make it to a year and nothing has happened then don't forget you should be able to get the ball rolling with your gp and get some tests.

I know there are certain things people try and take to increase their luteal phase but I don't have any recommendations myself. Someone might be along soon with some good advice.

@Madeoftea thank you for your reply :)
Looking online, I'm not entirely sure it would be classed as short, either.

I'm so confused. I just don't understand what's happening.
It will be a year soon, we are young and time seems to be on our side, so I just don't understand!!

I had a short luteal phase of 9 to 10 days and conceived after 6 months. Now got a 14 month old girl. Try some reflexology and fertility meditations to lengthen it if you are concerned. Xx
