This isn't even a squinter right?!?

Have just taken that test and had decided it was negative after 10 seconds but that line appeared over the next minute.

I'm 15DPO and that was 2nd pee of the day.

Part of me wants to get super excited because we've been trying for FIVE YEARS!

I have PCOS (and have literally just started investigation, had scans, blood taken etc). Have lost 2 1/2 stone since February and this morning I have just gone from "obese" to "overweight".

I'm getting married in July and if this is for real I guess there's no way I'm fitting in the dress I bought 🙈

On the other hand, I got a positive pregnancy test about 11/12 months ago however I was spotting and bleeding from ovulation and for the next 5 weeks. Although blood tests confirmed HCG (which went down very slowly) I genuinely think it was the cause of a cyst (which I've never had before). The pain was the most excruciating thing I've felt.

Now...I've got proper AF cramps and it genuinely feels like I'm about to start my period. But as my luteal phase is normally 10/11 days it's looking promising.

There are so many things going round my head. OH is running me a bath tonight which he runs VERY hot and I know I shouldn't have 😞

I've also just taken up running (couch to 5k, starting week 4 next week) and really want to continue but I know I'm pushing myself when doing it.

And we've booked a hot tub place for our honeymoon!! 😩

I guess it's a case of testing again tomorrow and if all good giving the OH the good news (in a cool fun way I've had planned for ages!!)

Aaaaarrrgh, I just want to scream!!!

I (think!) I just got my BFP!!

That's such a lovely story @Cherryblossom2021 :) warmed my heart. Best wishes to you. X

Cherryblossom2021 · 26/04/2021 11:23

Ahh thanks @Veronika13 he’s still got my test with him!!! I told him he’s carrying around something I wee’d on and in the normal w people don’t do that but he don’t care!! Now I hope he’s going to keep the secret, he’s an electrician in the hospital so not working from home - can see him now walking round with it sticking out of his pocket!!

EmbarrassingMama · 26/04/2021 12:49

That's a very, very, very positive test! Did you tell DH?!

ApplePie86 · 26/04/2021 15:06

@EmbarrassingMama I did get indeed! We had dinner at my parents yesterday then we got home where he was presented with his first clue (there were about 16). He was like a kid at Christmas working them all out. The last one took him to a gift box that he opened to find a packet of crisps he loves. He then lifted up the sheets of tissue to find a test, the baby grow and a couple of books. There were A LOT of tears but he's so over the moon. I really hope this lasts 🤞🏻 We took more tests together this morning including a CB digital which said 2-3 weeks and I'll do the other one next week and hopefully get a 3+

Scan booked in for 8 weeks in the hope everything progresses 😊
