FRER line not getting darker - 10-12dpo

Hey I wonder if anyone has had similar. I had a chemical pregnancy in January and the line started getting lighter from 14dpo. I have just got BFP 2 days ago at 10dpo but my line doesn't seem to be getting darker. It isn't lighter but not progressing? Has anyone got positive stories of this or is this another chemical on its way? Pic attached.

@CAG14 how are you getting on? I have gone into panic mode with my tests also. Have one from today slightly lighter and I mean very slightly but even that has set me off thinking this is the start of a chemical! Never easy is it!

@willithappen what dpo are you? Do you have any pics? I'm waiting until Sunday to test with a digital to see if it has gone to 3+ weeks.

@CAG14 I'm 9dp5dt today. I got home and compared my tests again and I actually think they are the same, and perhaps the 8 day one had just dried overnight so now that this mornings has dried more they look the same colour.
It won't let me upload pics straight from my phone for some reason, I have to take the photo and not home right now but if you look in the thread 7dp5dt here in the infertility forum you will see my tests :)

I'm waiting until otd and doing digital also. I haven't done a digital yet that has the weeks on it

@willithappen I haven't found your thread but I will say mine never got darker in 24 hours only 48 but did progress. So stressful isn't it! But I went from testing daily to every other day and it made it a lot better. They do change once they have dried as well over time so hard to compare fresh ones with older ones. Clearblue weeks indicator can be a good way to see progression for you

Oh here it let me add one that's in my phone already, this is it
Once I checked later though the 9dp5dt has dried and looks exactly same colour as 8dp5dt one so I'm less anxious now

Thanks @CAG14
I have actually gone to compare them now that everything has fully dried in and I think I am more comfortable/confident now and going to stop testing and only use a digital at the weekend and then on Wednesday for otd and leave it at that

sorry to jump on this post but im in a situation where i have been getting faint lines on frer test and dont seem to be getting any light and i started testing at 7dpo and all lines have stayed the same and today im 10dpo

Chanel05 · 26/11/2021 04:37

@lisa838 I'd recommend making your own thread.

10dpo is still extremely early and plenty of people get bfn at this point. Lines at this point will be very light anyway.

Please stop testing until 14dpo or day of missed period. You really won't change the outcome either way.
