Hi all,
I know there are a few threads for those conceiving post-MC but didn't know which one to join, and also I wanted to start a thread for anyone in the same boat as me of trying to conceive after a second or third trimester loss, so having to navigate postpartum recovery as well..

My story is that I lost my first child, a beautiful baby boy, at 23 weeks at the very end of January to a very rare condition called a pericardial teratoma. We are grieving for our boy but equally my husband and I are really desperate for a baby so we've started to TTC again. This is our first month since our loss, and I am currently 4dpo and going a bit mad with the tww! My hormones are still all over the place so I really don't know what chance we have, don't want to get my hopes up too much but I want a rainbow baby so much.

Is there anyone else ttc after a later loss that wants to be ttc buddies?🌈🌻

Hi, firstly I'm so sorry about your loss 💐

We lost our wee boy at 18 weeks in July due to a placental abruption and like you, through all the grief I definitely felt the need to throw myself back into TTC. We're currently on cycle 10 so not happening as quickly as I'd have hoped, but tests for both of us have come back ok so I'm trying to stay positive that it'll happen! I'm 1DPO today so not far behind you! Fingers crossed this is your month and I'm happy to give some mutual support through the craziness that is trying again! xx
