Bits of blood/debris in toilet before period

Hi everyone, wondered if anyone has experienced this... we've been ttc for a while... every month I get my hopes up I'm pregnant only not to be
Recently, in the few days before my period is due, I've been experiencing bits of blood debris (not clots but like small bits of flakes) actually in the toilet when I go for a wee.
A couple of times I've been convinced it's implantation bleeding because it sometimes comes with some slight brown or pink blood on toilet paper.
I've had some tests at doctors - waiting for a vaginal scan now. Wonder if it could be endometriosis but don't have any other symptoms. Has anyone experienced similar??

Are you regular? Could it be hormonal issues?

I used to get that... I had spotting for 8 days leading to my heavy days that were like you described. No clots but these "flakes" and light brownish discharge on the tissue. I had no idea what these were, but I started having these since I was off my birth control every month. I started taking progesterone 3 days after ovulation and the spotting/flaking before my heavy days stopped. It's still your uterus shedding tissue I was told... I'm not sure if this is your case... Just sharing my experience
Hope your vaginal scan provides more clarity.
