Hi all

I have PCOS and me and my partner are TTC.

Last month we got a positive test but after a blood test it was confirmed a very very early loss. I’ve been having regular periods since July at around 42 days apart. I bled last month but I am now according to Flo ( I know it’s difficult to track with PCOS) 15 days late. I took a couple of tests earlier on around 7 days late which were negative. I since took a test this morning and in the light there is a faint shadow line (checked within 5 mins of doing)

I guess my question is has anyone had anything like this before? And will this shadow mean anything or should I ignore it due to the previous month etc? Would it cause me to be late?

Are you able to post a picture of the shadow OP? It's difficult to say without seeing it if it's a faint positive or an evap line. Fingers crossed for you.

@Literaryseed Thanks for responding. I wasn't able to attach pictures last week! I've retested today and this is what I got... let me know what you think.
Thank you 😊

I can definitely see something. Have you tested since?

Dukey238 · 14/04/2021 13:38

@Literaryseed No, I was going to give it a few days to retest to see if lines got darker! Will do again tomorrow morning?

It's not unusual to have a wonky cycle after a CP which is probably why your cycle is longer than usual this time. Having said that - you could have gotten pregnant this cycle as in a normal one so let's hope you just did that test early and it gets darker!

How sensitive are the tests you're using? Might be better off using a FRER next time?

Dukey238 · 14/04/2021 18:12

@Juno231 you'll have to forgive me I'm new to here and not sure what the acronyms mean!

I think I'm going to retest in the morning so hopefully will see. The tests I'm using say highly sensitive at 10ml? Is that good?
