2 Solid smileys 5 days apart in a week?

Hi All, TTC with PCOS for the third month on Letrozole 7.5mg. First two months were on 5mg. Got solid smileys for the first time on both 32 & 42 day cycles but no luck.

This month CD16 (29th Apr) got a solid smiley (am and pm on separate sticks) (and corresponding strong positive on cheapie) and sharp pains (first time ever) in the right abdomen around late evening that lasted for 3-4 hours - I am assuming this was ovulation cramping. CD18, CD19 were empty circles on CB opk and slightly fainter lines on cheapies. Got a flashing smiley on CD20 and a better faintish positive on cheapie. CD21 (today) got a peak smiley on CB and a faintish positive on cheapie again. No apparent cramping so far. DDD everyday since CD16 to CD21.

Am I ovulating late? Am I ovulating for a second time (wishful thinking for twins)? Do we continue to DDD? Any one experienced something like this? Appreciate any tips! Thanks! Daffodil

Why did you keep testing after your solid smiley? I thought you test until you get your solid smiley and then it stays for 2 days. Why would you keep testing?

It did stay for two days. And then I tested again - not sure why, I guess I wanted to be informed and confirmed on what was happening. Smile

Hey OP, it was my understanding that ovulation sticks aren't reliable if you have PCOS, so this could explain the multiple solids. Considering you had right-side cramps, I would take that as your ovulation, as your signs match the sticks. I think the sticks normally say not to keep testing once you've got a solid. Maybe so you don't get this confusion. Do you monitor your CM too - if so, did that correspond to ovulation? Fingers crossed for success.
