Anyone else 12 DPO?

Anyone else around the same dpo as me and want to await the last few days together?

So far I’ve not had many symptoms, been feeling super hungry within a few hours of eating and ive had some vivid dreams and also some blood in my nose a few days on the trot when I blew my nose.

My boobs are normally sore from 9dpo and I have been known to spot from this early on too. I have been told my progesterone levels may not be high enough to fall pregnant so that’s probably why but this month I’ve had no spotting and no sore boobs so far yay! Even if I’m not pregnant it’s been nice 😂

Trying not to get my hopes up because last cycle I had sore boobs early on but didn’t spot until 2 days before my period so just patiently waiting ..... it’s hard to not get excited though :/

Xxx

Oh I’m so sorry. It sounds like you really deserve a break after trying for so long. Well, you’re not out until you’re out as they say so I’m still keeping fingers crossed. Do you know how long it will take for your fertility clinic appointment to come through?

pinkpirlie · 15/03/2021 10:33

@FirstTimeTryer93 congratulations. So happy for you.

@babypleasenow sorry you didn't get good news this morning. How many DPO are you now? Perhaps a slightly longer cycle, or perhaps it is taking longer for the HCG to show? I have seen posts by people who didn't show as pregnant for a week after their missed period. So still keeping everything crossed for you.

babypleasenow · 15/03/2021 10:44

@Twothirtyam yeah you're right. I just feel so confused because for as long as I have known I have never gone without spotting this far into a cycle. Also, not sure about fertility clinic appointment yet, they have to get my OHs sperm sample first. Thank you for your positivity and encouragement though I really need it today.

@pinkpirlie I thought I was 15dpo today, but I didn't track ovulation at all this month. I usually get a peak OPK between cd13-15 but I had my 21 bloods this month and dr said ovulation possible from looking at the figures so surely that means I have? Who knows. Anyway, thank you also for your encouragement and positive words. I will post any updates incase anyone wants to read them, I do understand it's sometimes a bit dull when you are out for this cycle to keep reading about someone else though😂 xx

Yes do update. Perhaps you did conceive but something wasn’t quite right so it’s delayed your period a bit? I’ve had months where I’ve had random cramps and out of place spotting and I think on those cycles I’ve conceived but it just hasn’t been strong enough to show positive on a test. Probably silly but I figure we do also know our bodies a bit and what’s normal and what isn’t.

babypleasenow · 15/03/2021 11:52

@Twothirtyam ughhhh. I'm not sure. I hope you're right. I just want to know I CAN get pregnant, you know? Sorry. Having a really bad day! I will update though. So far, (tmi) near enough dry down there - which people say is what happens before af! X

Hope you’re doing ok @babypleasenow - any updates? AF hasn’t properly started yet here but I’m hoping it will today so that I can reset the clock!

babypleasenow · 16/03/2021 08:40

Hello @Twothirtyam ! Feeling better today thank you. Still no spotting, boobs were a little tender last night but this morning they are fine? Not sure when the best time to test would be if af still doesn't show any signs. I have one answer pregnancy test and one clear blue digi left and not keen on buying more if af is just late 😔

Hope your spotting is over soon, it is particularly annoying when you just want cd1 to arrive. X

@babypleasenow sounds like you're really getting tested with what you're going through. I really hope you get some answers to help with your journey soon.

AF started with vengeance in the middle of the night. It woke me up with with the worst cramps and sickness. I was nearly in tears it was so painful. I really hate getting her every month as not only am I not pregnant, but it's like, "how can we make this news worse?" And then decides to make me fe physically awful too.

@Twothirtyam has AF arrived for you and reset the clock?

I'm still going to temp this month and do OPK even though we aren't going to TTC. We only started monitoring ovulation in January, so still light on data.
We have not been careful since last summer, but that didn't get anywhere so started with the tracking this year to see if that would help.
I'm hoping with three months' data we can stop again after my next AF to try and make it less stressful again for my partner.

Twothirtyam · 16/03/2021 19:43

Yeah agree @pinkpirlie it’s like the icing on the cake isn’t it having to actually deal with a period at the end of it! Mine arrived for real this evening but I knew it was coming as boobs had totally gone back to normal and I could feel the cramps starting. It’s ok though. Just going to focus on next month! Hopefully we can manage to DTD more than once so I’ve at least got more of a chance!

babypleasenow · 17/03/2021 10:58

Update: day after period due is today, tested again with BFNs and no spotting etc still. Was cramping last night and the night before but still nothing. SO confused!

Twothirtyam · 17/03/2021 11:11

Well I guess no spotting is good! Maybe you’ve conceived and hormones aren’t high enough yet to show on a test? It’s an awful waiting game isn’t it!

pinkpirlie · 17/03/2021 12:33

@babypleasenow
I hope you get good news soon. No period definitely means there is a chance you're pregnant. My period was 4 days later starting this month due to my first ovulation attempt failing.
I read the first phase of your cycle can vary in length, but the second phase after ovulation tends not to vary.
So if you know when you ovulated and have gone forwards your usual length, you are late, getting no PMS symptoms that must be a good sign.

LittleDoveLove · 23/03/2021 16:25

@babypleasenow I am in same position. I've had an unusually long cycle. I am 12DPO I think, no positive test or no AF either. I'm on cycle day 36. I used OPK which said I had a surge a week later than my app predicted (D23/24) app very good at predicting AF date usually so this is long cycle for me by a week more. No idea where my period has gone to! I would have though a positive would have shown on 12 days DPO if it was pregnancy as with my first child it showed at 10. Limbo isn't fun is it 😢

@FirstTimeTryer93 Sorry for waking up a thread few months old- could you recall where did you get spots in face behind bfp?
