My temp dropped massively this morning so just waiting for AF now. Feeling really bummed about everything now, just frustrated and can't understand why it's not working for us. I know we haven't been trying long in the grand scheme of things, but just feeling irritated and fed up with it. My mum feel pregnant immediately with both me and my sister, and loads of my friends have gotten pregnant while on the pill or on their first/second cycle off, so I'm just having a pity party for one today I think and feeling the unfairness! Will pick myself up tomorrow - new day, new cycle!

I am feeling exactly the same! Everyone I know says it happened so quickly for them, but I am 4 months in and still nothing.
I know its not unusual, but I feel really bummed about it all too!

@abi555 Oh no I'm so sorry about AF. I completely get you with the frustration it's so draining! Fingers crossed for next cycle for you 💫 Hopefully with lockdown lifting soon we'll all be relaxed and too busy seeing friends and family that we won't be focusing on TTC as much and it'll just happen 🤞

@abi555 i feel ya! If it helps you can google average months TTC by age and I'm pretty sure the FF stats show it takes 6 months on average for someone age 30. (not that I have a clue how old you are!)

CD9 here so not much to report. Did an OPK today and it had a line on it already so perhaps I'll be ovulating earlier like last cycle (CD13). OH would be relieve as it's his bday on Friday and he'd hate to have to BD then lol!

@abi555 I can definitely relate to that feeling. I'm so impatient now and fed up of wondering why not me! I am joining your pity party 😂 but it will be our turn at some point!

I actually had some EWCM today! No positive opks yet so I am still (not so) patiently waiting for any sign ovulation is imminent. Keep hearing about this line of duty. I've never watched it but sounds like I need to give it a go.

Its CD15 for me and I feel like my body has given it a go at ovulating over the past few days. I had high, soft, open cervix and EWCM, I also got up to 86% on OPK on Friday (CD 12). Its over now though, so if I don't get my temp rise tomorrow then I'm pretty sure it will be a failed attempt (again).

Interestingly I had the same last cycle (which was my first Soy Iso cycle) around the CD15-18 mark , so I feel like the supplement certainly has an effect. But will it get me over the line? We shall see tomorrow I guess!

So my OPKs are dwindling now. I hope my temp continues to shoot up tomorrow. Do I still DTD tonight if I can despite no longer positive OPK?

Today marks my 1 week off cerelle and so far the only changes I've had are lots of spots and my emotions going all over the place 😂 nearly cried with frustration at my work laptop freezing this morning...
No sign of any withdrawal bleed yet.

I'm in a self imposed tww of sorts! Waiting till April to ttc as I don't want a December baby, but I'm really struggling with patience 😅 just want to start trying now

@kay00 I'm sorry it looks like it could be a repeat of CD15 last cycle but it's just the first attempt and it would be a huge improvement if it happens even on the second or third one!

@Moocher90 If you can be bothered then yes it's always worth it but honestly all the swimmers should be in position for the egg already

Hi girls,

Sorry, I've been guilty of being a bit of a lurker recently. I was so fed up when AF came last cycle that I decided to take a bit of a break from it all. Anyway, I wanted to come on and say thank you for pushing me to speak to the doctor again about the spotting starting super early for me. I logged it last cycle that I had a bit on 5dpo, then more 7dpo-13dpo and then the mother of all AF started 14dpo for 3 days! So I was wearing a liner/towel for 13 days! I contacted my assigned GP via the online system they have, and she said she didn't think it was worth me having blood tests or referring me due to my chemical at the beginning of Feb. She thought I meant I had mid cycle spotting so asked me to go in to have swabs done in case of infection. Well...thankfully I managed to get in with another lady GP who was so nice and helpful! She's referring us for fertility treatment straight away due to the long wait they have, and has arranged so many blood tests I don't think I'll have any left after they're finished with me! So it just goes to show it can all depend on who you get and it's worth trying to speak to someone else if they don't listen the first time!

Anyway, I hope everyone is well :) I'm CD13 and have had a blank smiley today but am remaining hopeful it will be flashing tomorrow!

@flyinggiraffe it's great to hear you found a good GP who has referred you for treatment x hopefully you won't have to wait too long and you get the answers you need (and a BFP!!)

@Juno231 thanks. I'll be pleased if I ovulate on 2nd or 3rd attempt too... but I'm starting to wonder what it is I need to do to actually ovulate!? Why is it so hard 😫🤣

Like I said to my OH... its not fair! We do the sex part really well! I just need some eggs to be released 😂😂😂

Hey guys! Just catching up, hope everyone’s okay. I’m on day 6 of flashing bloody smileys, definitely got too excited too soon. I did a couple of cheapie OPKs today when I could and they are still faint so not sure what’s going on. I know you can get them for up to 9 days and then they advise you stop testing. I’m currently CD18, attaching my chart for fun. I’m worried I’m just going to keep getting them and never get a static urghhh ☹ We’ve been BD like mad so just going to try and keep going even though we’re both knackered and totally over it haha! I’ve just been jumping DH in the mornings! I’ve had EWCM a few days, just in the mornings, but no other signs really. Just going to try and not stress and BD until hopefully something happens. I’m realllllly trying not to obsess but finding it tricky at the moment as I just don’t know what’s going on. Reading all your messages of everyone else also not knowing what’s going on with their bodies really helps me so thank you all for sharing even though I wish none of us were in this situation! Baby dust to all xxx

@TheHotelCalifornia thanks lovely, I'm 6dpo now. My temp took a dive this morning and I'm not expecting anything this time given our awful BD attempts and I've got zero symptoms whatsoever but we'll see! Enjoy LOD, I spent the full hour last night trying to work out all the acronyms! Makes all the ones we use on here seem so simple 😂

@Kay00 I feel really lucky that I went to see someone else who really took the time to listen. I work somewhere that means I'm fortunate to know which GPs are a bit more thorough and it definitely proved its worth on this occasion! I really hope you ovulate this time🤞 great job covering the dtd though!

@TheHotelCalifornia thanks lovely 😘 I will definitely keep you updated. I cant believe how many tests she's doing. I feel like I'm having a full MOT 😂 Argh...the flashing smileys get to you don't they! Do you know what day you got peak last cycle? We were loosely following smep the last two cycles but ran out of steam by the time I got the static smiley! It was tough going! Decided not to start dtd so early this cycle! 🙈 The nice gp I saw said to try dtd 2 or 3 times a week throughout the month so we cover ourselves. Hope that you get the static smiley soon! 🙂

Slightly awkward Q ... I came off the pill on 28/01/2021 and had a period/bleed as usual but nothing since so period is 21 days late. I’ve been reading about post pill amenorrhea so it might be that but I also have a really itchy nipple on my right breast and it’s constantly hard. Has anybody else experienced this? Thanks in advance.

Woke up to temp being 36.33 which is a high for me! One more day of high temps and ovulation is confirming for Monday! Solid cross hairs on FF. Managed to DTD sat sun and Monday so hopefully enough coverage! I may be in my first official tww after all after so many failed attempts.

@Hayles919 did you have your breakthrough bleed and then a period? If not, it could be that you're not late, but still waiting. Some of the girls on here have had a long wait for their periods to return after the pill. Hopefully AF shows herself soon for you.

My temp went down this morning and my blank smiley went straight to static! I'd usually be thrilled but we haven't dtd once as I had no other signs and I've always had flashing smileys first! Last month I had the peak smiley on cd18 so I thought I had a few more days as I'm cd14 today 🤦🏻‍♀️ oh well...best get BD! 😂 At least I know that my bloods on cd21 will be accurate!

@Hayles919 I read a lot of coming off pill threads on here and there were a lot of women who had to wait for a period. I think they say it can take up to 3 months to come back to normal 🙂 I've had a really itchy left boob as well 😂 maybe it is a symptom of coming off then!

Hi everyone hope I can join, I think I was on these threads a few months ago,

I came off the pill early last year and I am currently cycle 15, 8dpo. Are there any more of you on here who have been trying so long? I try not to hope but you can't help it, but I can't actually imagine it happening. I've never had a bfp or a hint of one.
I had the blood tests and it was done day 20 instead of day 21, my progesterone was 46.5 and apparently that is good, so I ovulated last month.
DH has children so most likely fine, but is being tested.
I stopped using opks due to the stress, seeing as we are told to just relax and forget about it( anyone else hate this?!) I am regular so know my fertile week and days though. Stopping the opks did do me good mentally, I chilled a bit, but it hasn't worked so I feel like telling people to fuck off when they say to relax, especially if they conceived easily 😂
I used pre seed this month for the first time.
I also had awful skin for a year after coming off the pill, but in the last 2 or 3 months it has calmed down, which has been amazing for my self esteem. But the last few days I've got a load of spots come out, and loads of those little bump spots, which are apparently hormonal ones.
Most likely just my bad skin coming back, which I'm worried about, but I can't help but hope....as its random. Anyone here have previous children and this happen before their bfp? I am clutching at straws I know!
I'm gonna be so disappointed in a week I know.

@FlyingGiraffe I also got my static smiley today after 9 days of flashing 😅 but we haven't dtd recently as I gave up thinking it was never going to happen. Will definitely be jumping my OH today and tomorrow.

@Lovebug06 👋 sorry to hear you have been trying for so long, I'm on cycle 7 and already frustrated. Have you spoken to your gp about anymore tests? Once you have been trying for a year they can then refer you to a fertility clinic to see if there is anything that can be done to help. Though good news about your bloods.

@TheHotelCalifornia Nope, my temp this morning was 36.16. Which is at the higher end of the scale for my PF temps, but not really high enough for LP temps (which usually start at around 36.3 for me). Bum!

Thanks for the well wishes. I’m so glad I decided to DTD this month as after 6 cycles of no ovulation I thought why bother.... but my temps are going in the direction of getting confirmation of ovulation if temp goes up tomorrow.

Luck has really been on my side. I got my results for an exam for work for a promotion today which I passed without much studying at all. I’ve managed to sell my house and buy our new place. Hopefully good luck comes in threes and it’s a confirmed ovulation and better yet a BFP! 😂 I may be pushing it too much but I girl has got to dream big
