No mean girls reports to MN last time ladies 😆🙌🏻I don’t know whether that’s a result or not, but seeing as it was the Spring Zen bus I think that was good 🦋🌸🌷🌻

So it’s back to the usual routine & realising men know NOTHING about ovulation, but then again, do our bodies?? Except for the science teachers that is 😉

We are still working on our spring challenges alongside trying to get pregnant and we’ve had great results so far.

Our bus is helping each other get fitter, more positive through sharing small changes we are making in our lives and trying to inspire & support each other with these too...as well as of course being there for each other during the sad times.

Have a look at the small changes beside the names and see if you want to try them yourself or add in your own!

Last month we had some fab BFPs including an OG 🥰♥️🙌🏻💪🏻so bring on March for more of the same please as well as investigations IVF fun for some others...
Spring is coming, and so are we 😘🦄🍀🌸🌷🌻🌼

And if you see mention of my blog then blame these guys they made me do it...#shamelessplug

minstermusings.co.uk for the blog that’s where the full stuff happens

If you want to sign up & get updates please do, please note your username if you comment shows up to others so maybe make it anonymous I won’t be offended 😂🤣(unless you are mean)

Story so far...

June 24 BFPs
July 11 BFPs
August 18 BFPs
Sep 4 BFPs
Oct 7 BFPs
Nov 7 BFPs
Dec 14 BFPs
7 BFPs for jan
8 BFPs for February

Let’s go go go for March!

@Ltay2 that's bath sounds bliss, points to your OH. Look after yourself and rest as much as you can while you keep that bubba cooking, not long to go now 😊 👶🏻

Franklydear · 14/03/2021 21:44

@Ltay2 FFS, at least you are monitored....
@Lexber welcome, similar boat here, a 10 yo a few months after stopping the pill, after a loss on the pill, and here we are 14 months and another loss later, hope you get better luck

Lexber · 14/03/2021 21:51

@Franklydear sorry to hear about your loss.
I feel so impatient- I get a feeling that's going to become normal 🤣🤣

I think the not knowing if this is my AF or just a bleed doesn't help as I had a lovely cycle going 🤣 now who bloody knows- I've never used OPK but think I will start them this coming week to try and see what happens - really don't want to miss ovulation if it is coming soon as I've also heard (again no idea what's true and what isn't) that some women are even more fertile after coming off coil and I've been on it 9 years... so knowing my luck my body will go into overdrive and I will be pregnant in 1st cycle with quads... 🤦🏽‍♀️🤣

Gem176 · 14/03/2021 21:58

@paintfairy I'm in the same boat only I know I couldn't live with my mum again 😂 OH hoovered yesterday (thundered about in a grump about it but I didn't care 🙄), he seems to think o should be some sort of perfect housewife.... 😂😂😂 how I laugh! Told him if he expects washing, drying, ironing and putting away of clothes to be done on the same day then he should have got with someone else because I'm not that person. Considered holding a meeting for people with OCD in my house couple of times a week and just letting nature take its course 🤣

@larrythelizard bloody hell, what a week you have had! That must have been terrifying! Hope you are feeling properly better soon!

@Lexber Welcome 😊 I also joined this bus after my only previous experience of pregnancy being a happy accident, felt totally clueless but the ladies on here are a fountain of conception knowledge 🥰

Franklydear · 14/03/2021 22:07

@Lexber it is a hard journey but these ladies have hold me up at the toughest points

Haiyaa · 14/03/2021 22:08

What is going on @Ltay2?! That baby is on some sort of jail break mission 😂 take care, rest up and hope OH can bring you that burger during visiting hours one day!

@Lexber honestly it’s anyone’s guess with the coil, sometimes they dislodge just a teeny bit and BAM pregnant! Hopefully this is indeed the start of a new cycle for you!

paintfairy · 14/03/2021 22:11

@Gem176 🤣 OMG - reading your reply reminded me I forgot to hoover! I was going to after I said about it! Oops. Oh well. I do the washing regularly. The ironing is a needs must thing. I don't mind cleaning but it just needs doing far too often? How do things get so dirty? And there aren't enough hours in the day. Strangely DH doesn't even notice unclean things, just clutter? So that's what he moans about, if anything.
@Ltay2 oh ffs! Honestly. Couldn't they have waited a few hours until you were back? 🤣 Best laid plans and all that. I hope you manage to get some sleep. You are in the best place for everything else, just not the best place for sleep.
@Crazydoglady123 I'm hoping restrictions don't lift too fast. It'll be easier for us hospital wise if DH is still wfh. He gets crap holiday and doesn't work nearby or even in the direction of the hospital. So appointments will be a pain if they make him go back too soon. So I'll campaign with you for keeping lockdown just a little longer. 🤣
@Lexber Welcome to the bus!

Lexber · 14/03/2021 22:17

Thanks @paintfairy @Gem176 ☺️

@Franklydear they seem a lovely lot and very supportive from the bits I have read - I've not stalked the whole threads on it sure what's what at min but will prob pick it all up! Xx

Lexber · 14/03/2021 22:20

Fingers crossed @Haiyaa with my first I had just come of the injection and was on the pill (no accidents, or sickness) and caught, then my second I was in a different pill and same... so I WAS a fertile young whippersnapper! But that was 15 and 11 years ago.. I'm nearly 35 now! And after 9 plus years on coil who knows 🤞🏼🤞🏼

Wow it's so hard to remember who mentioned me and respond to the right person 🤣 I'm using the app and learning so apologies if I tag the wrong person xx

Gem176 · 14/03/2021 23:05

@paintfairy I could absolutely live with the cleaning and would have time to do it IF either of the other fully functional human beings could pick up their dirty pants or put rubbish in the bin 🤯 although I probably wouldn't need to clean multiple times daily if they could rinse their toothpaste off the sink and didn't walk mud throughout the whole house 🤬 I'm probably overly annoyed at the moment because I'm TIRED 😂 well past my bedtime!

blackcurrantqueen · 14/03/2021 23:32

Evening all

@Franklydear those little booties oh my they are adorable 😍

@Catherinettc I'm sorry today has been difficult for you; and also for your DD by the sounds of things. I'd love to hear about your mum if you felt like it 😘🥰

You too @bez91 I can't imagine how difficult days like today must be xx

@paintfairy sorry for the BFN 😢😘

@Vil10 I must have missed the brownies too but oh my god they look amazing.
OH took DD to the shop yesterday, she nicked a creme egg off the shelf and bit into it it still wrapped. He literally had to man handle her back into the car and put her straight in the bath 😂

@DJmum83 yayyyy happy scan news, congratulations lovely! Hope the midwife helps sort something for you xx

@larrythelizard I haven't wanted to bombard you but so glad you are okay 💕💕💕 I have to say I'm with your OH here let's make sure you are tip top condition to become a baby incubator 😘

@Ltay2 O M G just casually drop in mid paragraph 'oh my waters have broken!' You sound sooo calm and collected lady, you've got this! Keep those legs crossed and that beautiful baby nice and snug ! Xx

I'm with you @Minster2012 best bus driver ever😘

Have just done a pub quiz zoom for my dads birthday tomorrow, dropped him off some pub snacks for his birthday and had a little walk round the woods near his house earlier today. He made me a hotel chocolat velvetiser drink - SO good. When I finally get pregnant I will be investing in one to swap my wine for 😂
CD12 here so just waiting for ov. Doing the every other day BD for now! When I get a positive we will try for 3 in a row.... we shall see!

Two weeks off work so should be a bit more present - though I may get stuck into cleaning the house and eating cake. Oh and watching the Britney documentary!

Catherinettc · 14/03/2021 23:42

@blackcurrantqueen aw thats lovely ❤ not much to know. She was kind, caring, crazy, funny, dependable etc. Over 300 people at her funeral shows how well liked she was. Funeral made thats life magazine and the Sunday paper as she had a pink coffin, the song I'm so excited played at the grave and a disco with the cha cha slide instead of a wake 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤣🤣 the said the first 3 letters of funeral are FUN so that's what she wanted. No black etc to be worn. Hands down the best funeral I've ever been to or organised 🤣🤣🤣 she was only 43 and died of a brain aneurysm. Lasted 11 days in intensive care before passing on mother's day (which was 18th March that year) and was awake for most of it, just 20 years behind. Had to get my dad in even though they had been separated for years and he was remarried cos she thought they were still together and in love 🤦‍♀️🤣🤣. So although sad she left an epic story behind and plenty of laughs ❤❤❤

So nice of u to ask. U are the 1st person ever so thankyou xxxxx

Katao · 14/03/2021 23:50

Oh @Ltay2 baba is determined to keep you on your toes! Rest up as best you can where you are x

@Lexber sorry I've no experience of the coil.

@Catherinettc she sounds like one in million x

blackcurrantqueen · 14/03/2021 23:51

@Catherinettc she sounds like she'd fit right in on this bus 😂
I've always said I would fancy a pink coffin too so reckon she's our kind of lady!!
I'm also now intrigued as to what your dad - or his new wife did 😂
Thank you for telling us about her 🥰 xx

Gem176 · 15/03/2021 00:06

@Catherinettc your mum sounds like she was absolutely wonderful 🥰 thank you for telling us about her. My hormones are all over the place so I laughed and cried reading that! OH thinks I've gone mad, told him and he said he wished his mums funeral had been more like that as he just remembers it being very sad.
I'm also intrigued how that conversation went with your dad and step mum...?
Sounds morbid but in my family we have discussed what we want to happen when we die and reading that you knew what your mum wanted and gave her the send off she deserved makes me know it's the right thing to do. My mum has a road trip planned for my brother and I to scatter her ashes, she has also picked the outfit she wants to wear 🙈

Catherinettc · 15/03/2021 00:19

Wrote a massive reply and lost it all! 😭😭

Dad always loved mum and she always loved him. They were just too explosive together ,both too stubborn and headstrong. His wife was a bitch and turned up at the hospital drunk while we were waiting for the brain activity results and causes trouble.

Dad sadly took his own life not too long after (he was actually my step dad and brought me up from a baby) as my biological dad unfortunately had taken his own life years before in the same way.

This all had a profound effect on me as my brain rewired itself and I now have the neurologist condition functional dystonia. I'm actually registered disabled as it affects my mobility at times. This is why I seen a neuropsychologist not because I'm crazy 🤣🤣 to try to retrain my brain as it is caused by trauma. It didn't work 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️

There is a lot more detail and a lot of things happened during her time in hospital (4 brain surgeries and neglect on some part leading to her death etc but I will leave all that for the book lol but she saved 4 lives by donating her organs (another background story to that where we had to get lawyers involved etc) I bet ur sorry u asked? 🤦‍♀️🤣🤣

I'm not looking for sympathy though. There are so many people who have it so much worse than me and I'm actually really proud of how strong I have been and what I have achieved despite it all 😁 my sister and I have stuck together through it all and have the best bond ever so I think my parents would be proud.

Defo live life to the fullest and yes have a fun funeral, one last hurrah! And thanks so much for listening to me ramble on, I really needed that today ❤❤ u are all amazing xxxxx

Catherinettc · 15/03/2021 00:22

@Gem176 lol some people thought I was crazy at first but honestly it was good fun 🤣🤣 and when her song comes on qe sing it rather than cry. She knew exactly what she was doing lol xx

@Catherinettc your mum sounds like an absolute riot. Thank you for sharing her, and your family's, story. I come from a family that never discusses death/funerals so it's so pretty amazing to hear about a woman who decided to make it fun.

Minster2012 · 15/03/2021 07:02

@Catherinettc I've got a similar thing written up for me I have to say, on the funeral (well I call it a celebration) front of o die, you are amazing! Look forwards to the book!

@Lexber hi welcome seems the others have been looking after you whilst ive been a bit absent, apologies ladies, crazy busy

@Ltay2 is the baby here yet and are you calling it burger?? 😂🙌🏻

@Skip86 how you holding up babes?

Being shouted...back later lovely ladies!

Oh and CD36 today still no AF. Bloody thing

larrythelizard · 15/03/2021 07:21

@Catherinettc what an amazing woman your mum was, to have such fortitude and such personality right until the end, thanks for telling us about her! X

Sausage1990 · 15/03/2021 07:23

Sorry I've been MIA felt the need to step away from baby an ttc talk this weekend. So having a mammoth catch up.

@SmileyT congratulations on the birth of Baby Boy 💙 hope you're doing well xxx

@kirky685 gorgeous reaction from your grandad 💕 and so pleased your relatives are sharing your joy. So lovely 😊

@DJmum83 ahhh great news about your scan - so glad it went well 😊 also gald they're getting you some anti sickness tabs & signed you off for longer. You need rest girl!!! Take care of yourself 💐

@haiyaa yeas I loved the finale - sooo good. I'm so gutted it was so short a series!!! DH & I will be watching Falcon & the WINTER soldier for sure @inkypaper, he usually rushes ahead with series but I control the access to Disney+ so he has to wait 😉

@larrythelizard omg that sounds awful - I'm so glad it wasn't a stroke but god how scary. Sending so much love. Rest up & take care of yourself lovely 💕💐

@lexber hello & welcome to the fastest bus in existence haha 👋🏻

Oh gosh @Ltay2 just a casual 'my waters have broken' lol. I'm sorry you didn't get your bath or burger tho... Maybe baby wants to make an early appearance for you and is definitely keeping you on your toes. Keeping everything crossed that baby stays put a little longer for those lungs to get a big stronger 🤞🏻hope everything remained calm overnight xx

@cathertinettc wow what a mother. And what a life. You're definitely made of stong stuff mama 💪🏻

@vil10 @2020mission Happy Birthday ladies!!! Hope you both have a good one!!! 🎉🎂🎁🥂

Nothing new for me. I'm 4dpo. A bit crampy but nothing out of the ordinary for me post ov. I'm hoping to remain positive & optimistic for the next few cycles. Even if af does arrive this cycle then it will be a more normal length cycle for me so that's a win! And it's she doesn't show up then that's a mega win. My one work friend is sharing her pregnancy news with work today so I'm bracing myself for a baby talk focused day... It'll be fine tho. I am feeling okay about it all now, just gota keep the envious devil on my shoulder quiet because it's a pain in the arse 😈🚫 POSITIVE VIBES ONLY 💕💐✨🌈

bez91 · 15/03/2021 07:28

@Ltay2 oh lovey, sorry you didn't get to enjoy your relaxing few hours but you will be well looked after for the next couple of weeks before babies appearance!

@Vil10 thank you ❤️ and your cream egg thief DD made me lol 😂 it reminds me of when I once stood on a cream egg when I was intoxicated 🙈 that's lovely of you for your dad for his birthday.

@Catherinettc lovely to hear your story 💕 she sounds an absolute legend. Eerily similar to my mum 41 and brain haemorrhage, 20 years ago. You've been through so much and sound exceptionally strong and I'm all for the 'people have it worse than me' saying because it's so bloody true and not to dwell on things 💪🏼

@Gem176 that's absolutely not morbid, it's a good idea and hard to plan a funeral when you don't know what they might have wanted - very sensible 😁

@Sausage1990 keep that devil 😈 under control girl. Good to hear you're feeling okay about it though.

CD12 for me, just got my peak but not convinced on ovulating now with my long cycles so will just keep going 🍆

larrythelizard · 15/03/2021 07:35

Thanks @blackcurrantqueen 💜
