No mean girls reports to MN last time ladies 😆🙌🏻I don’t know whether that’s a result or not, but seeing as it was the Spring Zen bus I think that was good 🦋🌸🌷🌻

So it’s back to the usual routine & realising men know NOTHING about ovulation, but then again, do our bodies?? Except for the science teachers that is 😉

We are still working on our spring challenges alongside trying to get pregnant and we’ve had great results so far.

Our bus is helping each other get fitter, more positive through sharing small changes we are making in our lives and trying to inspire & support each other with these too...as well as of course being there for each other during the sad times.

Have a look at the small changes beside the names and see if you want to try them yourself or add in your own!

Last month we had some fab BFPs including an OG 🥰♥️🙌🏻💪🏻so bring on March for more of the same please as well as investigations IVF fun for some others...
Spring is coming, and so are we 😘🦄🍀🌸🌷🌻🌼

And if you see mention of my blog then blame these guys they made me do it...#shamelessplug

Story so far...

July 11 BFPs
August 18 BFPs
Sep 4 BFPs
Oct 7 BFPs
Nov 7 BFPs
Dec 14 BFPs
7 BFPs for jan

Let’s go go go for March!

Just popping on mid night shift to try and catch up.

@HollieL567 aww fantastic scan pic so glad everything went well

@Sausage1990 completely feel you hun we all get how you are feeling and as @Juno231 says we are all rooting for you. Our turn will come!

@Dollybird89 sorry you are feeling down, but you really are such an inspiration but I can understand your frustration. Glad the colouring helped and we are always here for support to.

Ltay2 · 13/03/2021 04:14

@Haiyaa Aww bless her sounds like she's had a tough week with going on since Monday! Hope her and baby are recovering well after her section ❤️

Hopefully I'll see the doctor or consultant again today to know a bit more. Managed almost 2.5 hours of broken sleep tonight so suppose it's at least more than last night 🙄

Florence13 · 13/03/2021 06:30

@Ltay2 oh bless you, you are going to be shattered at this rate by the time baby arrives.

Ltay2 · 13/03/2021 06:51

@Florence13 I know I'm so worried that I won't be able to get a good nights rest whilst I'm here and then be faced with going through the whole induction process with no sleep reserves and no energy to fall back on 😫

bez91 · 13/03/2021 07:02

@Juno231 hmm, I'm always getting the peaks on the CB digital at somewhere between CD10-CD13 the last few cycles although not using BBT as it's too much of a pain in the arse with child who wakes up through the night then not getting AF until day 30 or 31. Unless I'm getting false starts on the CB and not actually ovulating until later 🤷‍♀️ who knows, what are our bodies 🤯

@Ltay2 ☹️ hope you manage to catch up on some sleep soon!

Florence13 · 13/03/2021 08:13

@Ltay2 oh bless you hun I really hope you manage to get a good nights sleep at some point to!

Ltay2 · 13/03/2021 08:37

@bez91 @Florence13 Thank you!! The midwives have tried to reassure me by saying usually the third night of no sleep is the best as you're so tired you just crash out so let's hope they are right! Doesn't help that baby comes alive at night time prodding me all over the place too makes it very difficult to get comfy and feel like a hippo trying to roll over to my other side 🤣

Vil10 · 13/03/2021 09:08

@HollieL567 lovely scan picture!! So glad it all went well!!x

@Ltay2 hope you're feeling better lovely!! It'll all be worth it x

paintfairy · 13/03/2021 09:10

@HollieL567 awww fab picture!
@InkyPaper my BMI is 27 and they never said a word about it. She checked my height and weight at my fertility appointment and worked it out and said it was completely fine.
@bez91 no i have 26/27 day cycles. My LP is always 14 days. Maybe try using ICs instead of clear blue? Use them past when you usually would though in case you are getting multiple rises? I would say its unlikely you are ovulating that early if your cycle is that long.
@Sausage1990 oh its crap isn't it. I flick between being positive for the fertility stuff and then worried because on here or wherever I see women who it's failed for (one for the 3rd time I just read) and then I think what if that'll be me? It's really crap! Why can't we be those people it just happens for? So I think it's OK to be down. As long as you can pick yourself back up afterwards xxx
@Ltay2 OMG. The no sleep. That's definitely enough to drive you bonkers. I think I'd struggle too. I'm not sure hospitals are a good place for sleep ever. I hope you manage some eventually.

Franklydear · 13/03/2021 09:19

Eleanor Roosevelt used to say: women are like tea bags, you don't know how strong it is until you put it in hot water

Haiyaa · 13/03/2021 09:55

Love that @Franklydear 💪

Sorry you haven’t had a good night @Ltay2, it’s hard enough to sleep at the end of pregnancy as it is, let alone on a ward full of women/babies/machines beeping!

DNiece arrived safe and sound yesterday evening, and woke up to pics of my friend’s new grandson arrived early hours of this morning.... Babies EVERYWHERE! I am so happy for them but it just makes me want mine more 😢

Katao · 13/03/2021 10:18

Not caught up but quick update. AF turned up, dying! Can I just ask those with endo experience ( @Kirky658 @notyetamumbuttrying anyone else?) If one sided pain an endo symptom? The whole left side of my pelvis is in agony. I often suffer left pelvic pain during periods and other times. Just wondering if this is indicative of endo as have my fertility appointment next week and want to make sure I get all relevant information across.

@HollieL567 great news, glad you are feeling calmer

@Sausage1990 hugs my dear, hope you are ok today

Kirky658 · 13/03/2021 10:29

Hey @katao I haven't caught up much either crazy couple days but wanted to reply to you before I forget (baby brain!). For me left sided pain was so typical. Endo can often be worse on the left hand side if the uterosacral ligaments are involved which in my case they were, no one really knows for sure why. I would day to try and make a note of all your symptoms however small they may seem. Eg for me it was pain during sex, 'shooty bum' as I called it (basically horrible horrible pain going to the loo), shooting pains down the inside of my thighs, fatigue and I often got colds etc due to low immune system. Xx

paintfairy · 13/03/2021 10:53

@Katao I'm glad AF finally came for you. The rest sounds shit though. I'm sorry.

Justanothercyster · 13/03/2021 11:10

@Sausage1990 glad you're feeling better lovely 💕

@Franklydear love it!

ALL the hormones have kicked in and I have the horn, BAD 😈 I'm a bit paranoid but assume having an orgasm won't dislodge bean?

2020mission · 13/03/2021 11:12

@lucyrp well you were bang on with 11 hours after 😅 he started getting shivers and a fever and went to bed early. He seems ok today just knackered although he ate breakfast then went back for more sleep so not 100% yet. He made the bed too warm all night.

My temp was still low today so hopefully still have time to cover ovulation this month 🤞 my mum just got the same vaccine this morning but I didn't have the heart to tell her it's known for causing bad symptoms... I mean it said more than 1 in 10 get symptoms on the information sheet! That's pretty high odds.

@Sausage1990 glad you got to chat to someone IRL! The amount of times I've wanted to outpour to my mum or friends about what's going on but held back. Thankfully we are all here for that too as it would be much harder with nowhere to chat.

Sorry to hear about the MC @Dollybird89 ☹️ that's annoying having to wait until May for the clinic but hopefully AF will appear before then... sounds like everything was fine before so I'm sure it will happen.

Kirky658 · 13/03/2021 11:25

@ltay2 sorry to hear about the pre eclampsia, glad they are being proactive with it. They're keeping an eye on me as my mum had it very severely but all OK for now.

@holliel567 glad all is going well, what a cutie scan 😘❤️

@justanothercyster I can categorically confirm that orgasm does not dislodge bean - apparently they like the sensation 🤣

@sausage1990 hope you are feeling better after a chat with your SIL.

Sorry if I've missed anything exciting past couple of days, after I got the downs risk thing I went, well, a bit depressed tbh. I'm feeling much better now and know that the chances are very slim still but if it does come to that, we will still love our little bean more than anything ❤️ on countdown to 20 week scan... 28th April so aaaaaaages away xx

Franklydear · 13/03/2021 11:30

@Kirky658 as the mother of a different child, I can tell you that the only thing that makes it harder is the fighting society to give him what everyone else gets, wearing warrior colours at the moment so a bit more feisty than usual

Kirky658 · 13/03/2021 12:01

@franklydear that's my major concern to be honest! How's the schools appeal going for your DS? X

Ltay2 · 13/03/2021 12:39

@Kirky658 I was being closely monitored too due to my mum having eclampsia and seizures when she had me, and glad I was now! I was put on aspirin from 12-36 weeks and even with that I've still managed to develop it but guess it's just one of those things, no way to know whether it's actually down to family history or not!

So an update on me and what's happening, finally got some answers from the consultant 🥳 a nice locum today who took the time to explain thoroughly and answer questions unlike the usual rush in spew some words at you and rush out types!

Our plan is to keep baby hanging on in there until 38 weeks (2 weeks today) unless something worsens with the pre eclampsia, as those 2 extra weeks will just further develop his lungs and give him a better chance of not having to go to the special care unit when he's born. I've also had 2 doses of steroid injections to give his lungs a bit of a coating to help with development too.

So that means I'm now in hospital for 2 further weeks with induction being proposed for 38 weeks unless they wait until a weekday when I'll be 38+2, not sure how it works with inductions on weekends! Induction is definitely preferred over elective c section as the passage through the birth canal will help to squash any fluid out of babies lungs which will further help, but of course if induction doesn't progress and cervix doesn't dilate then we will be going for c section anyway. I'm happy with this plan. Not allowed to go home because we live a 25-30 minute drive away, I'm not allowed to drive myself and OH is working so if needed to come and get me then that adds the time for someone to take over from him at work, plus the drive home from work (another 25-30 min) which would mean an hour for me to get to hospital multiple times a week which isn't safe. I wouldn't want to do that anyway, I'm happy to stay in and have everyone keep a close eye on me. Let's just hope I manage to get some sleep soon!! OH bringing me a pillow from home tomorrow as hospital pillows are so horrible and crunchy sounding and going to request an extra pillow for tonight to put between my knees as it doesn't help that I'm so used to sleeping with a massive pregnancy pillow at home and now I have nothing of the sort!

Franklydear · 13/03/2021 12:47

@Kirky658 working on it, is a slow process, everything should be sorted by june
@Ltay2 hugs darling, glad you are receiving good care

Katao · 13/03/2021 13:00

Sorry all, I will catch up at some stage, dipping in and out at the moment but thanks @paintfairy. @Kirky658 thanks so much. I do want to make sure endo is given proper consideration so will sit and make a list as suggested thanks. A lot of thst sounds familiar. Luckily I don't get pain during sex usually, has happened a couple of times. Lots of other signs though so yes definitely do need to writea proper list. I'm afraid of being fobbed off. Thanks for your answer 🥰

Kirky658 · 13/03/2021 13:12

@katao best advice I can offer you is go armed with your information. Its so easy for them to dismiss as its 'hard' to diagnose. Let me know how you get on x

@ltay2 oh bless you hun, glad they're looking after you and you have a plan now x

@franklydear hope all goes sorted for you x

notyetamumbuttrying · 13/03/2021 13:31

@Katao sorry you're on and in pain. My pain is all over when I'm on. It's only one sided at ovulation. But everyone's experiences are different. Do you get pain during/after sex too? Those are my only two symptoms of it and I guess infertility too but that was more due to Dh than me. Although who knows now that his sperms improved! Oh scratch the pain during sex part, seen you've answered that now.
@Sausage1990 glad you're feeling better. Hope it continues today too 😘
@HollieL567 glad you're ok too! X
@Ltay2 I'm glad you're being well looked after and have a solid plan in place ♥️

We've just finished a 4 day sex sesh, really giving it our all this cycle! Gonna be pretty devo if it doesn't end in a bfp now that the sperm is better. I'll be heading for a hycosy if so 😬 and then a lap if tubes are blocked!

Katao · 13/03/2021 14:00

@Kirky658 I'm sorry the downs stat is stress you out, try flipping that number in your head....2699/2700 of not having downs. Hope you are ok and thanks for your help. I will definitely let you know x

@Ltay2 that all sounds very sensible and good to have a plan. Hopefully you start sleeping better soon. Hope the induction goes smoothly for you and you avoid the section. Either way sounds like you are in good hands.

@notyetamumbuttrying are they looking into endo for you or what kind of feedback did you get about your concerns? Oh good girl, you're giving it your all! Fingers crossed for you.
