No mean girls reports to MN last time ladies 😆🙌🏻I don’t know whether that’s a result or not, but seeing as it was the Spring Zen bus I think that was good 🦋🌸🌷🌻

So it’s back to the usual routine & realising men know NOTHING about ovulation, but then again, do our bodies?? Except for the science teachers that is 😉

We are still working on our spring challenges alongside trying to get pregnant and we’ve had great results so far.

Our bus is helping each other get fitter, more positive through sharing small changes we are making in our lives and trying to inspire & support each other with these too...as well as of course being there for each other during the sad times.

Have a look at the small changes beside the names and see if you want to try them yourself or add in your own!

Last month we had some fab BFPs including an OG 🥰♥️🙌🏻💪🏻so bring on March for more of the same please as well as investigations IVF fun for some others...
Spring is coming, and so are we 😘🦄🍀🌸🌷🌻🌼

And if you see mention of my blog then blame these guys they made me do it...#shamelessplug

minstermusings.co.uk for the blog that’s where the full stuff happens
& minstermusings on insta
If you want to sign up & get updates please do, please note your username if you comment shows up to others so maybe make it anonymous I won’t be offended 😂🤣(unless you are mean)

Story so far...

June 24 BFPs
July 11 BFPs
August 18 BFPs
Sep 4 BFPs
Oct 7 BFPs
Nov 7 BFPs
Dec 14 BFPs
7 BFPs for jan
8 BFPs for February

Let’s go go go for March!

@paintfairy I missed this, when is your HSG scheduled in for now?

Franklydear · 10/03/2021 17:11

@Minster2012 he is indeed missing, at least this week, nobody seems to know how long for though,
@Tornado2Inc 😲
So who's testing soon?

paintfairy · 10/03/2021 17:11

@Juno231 I have to ring CD1 and book it.

BlondePotter · 10/03/2021 17:15

@Justanothercyster miscarriage is common but being on MN makes it seem so much worse because we are all more open about CP and MC on here so Def take a break if you need to. I found looking at the stats helped, and how the risk reduces each day you are pregnant. Also it's totally normal not to feel pregnant, I didn't xx

2020mission · 10/03/2021 17:26

@Minster2012 never heard of either of those shows... where can we find them? I've been watching This Is Us season 3 on Amazon prime and had to watch a couple on it struggle to conceive then going for IVF. Those episodes had to be day 1 of AF when I'm feeling most fed up and emotional 😭 Does anyone else watch it?

@Justanothercyster completely understand your worries... on MN and reading about others suffering you can't help but think it could happen to you. You've already passed chemical stage so that's one hurdle jumped and you're also in your 20s with no previous MC history so chances of anything going wrong is low. No symptoms right now is completely normal... I'm sure in a few weeks you'll be wishing you were back here with no symptoms 😅

2020mission · 10/03/2021 17:28

Reluctant to share this incase it worries anyone but I bookmarked this miscarriage probability list on my last BFP as I wanted to at least see that every day the chance was getting lower for me... datayze.com/miscarriage-chart

Justanothercyster · 10/03/2021 17:46

Thank you so much, I really appreciate all the advice you have no idea 💕 @Kirky658 @BlondePotter @2020mission that link helps some days, Gem sent it to me before when I was freaking out. I think you're right that we're just so open here that sometimes just makes it scarier!

Juno231 · 10/03/2021 17:48

@paintfairy hopefully next cycle isn't a write off then, they do try and book it before ovulation.

DKDK123 · 10/03/2021 18:01

8 pages to catch up on I've been flat out at work so this will probably be an essay of a post sorry ladies!

Thanks for those who commented on the recall from the fertility clinic messing with our heads, I started tagging but there were so many it would take up half the post! I did read all your input tho so thanks for your thoughts and advice to all, much appreciated!
It's not so much the tests that are the problem I know it wouldn't hurt to have them done but that then technically puts us back on the ttc journey again and 19 months, 5 early losses have just left us utterly beaten that I dont know if we have it in us to go through it all again. We haven't felt as happy in a long time as when we made the decision to adopt and if you want to adopt then you have to have completely stopped all fertility investigations for at least a year first. If we start up investigations again it could be another 6 months/year who knows of potentially false hope only to find us back in the same position and wanting to adopt then having to wait another year on top. But at the same time if we don't continue with the clinic what if we have regrets further down the line 🤷‍♀️ its a head fuck so I'm currently being an ostrich and just sticking my head in the sand trying not to think about any of it at all at the minute which is working out much better 😂 We aren't using protection during sex but we're not trying and have resigned ourselves to the fact that any future late periods are just another CP anyways so just going to think of them as heavy late periods instead as I can't handle seeing two lines disappear any more times.

It probably also doesn't help we're having to do the lateral flow tests twice a week at work which just remind me of pregnancy tests (I'll attach a pic) and there's always at least one comment a week from work with someone making some kind of hooray negative I'm not pregnancy comment 🤦‍♀️

@paintfairy you'll need to send me your fitbit username once you've got your new fitbit up and running and I'll add you to our challenges the girls def keep me moving. You're welcome to join too @2020mission, I usually only average around 10k steps a day, sometimes less sometimes more and can add you to bingo challenges they give you tasks according to your personal average so even if someone does more than you it doesn't matter as your bingo cards are based on your stats if that makes sense.

@Hopeful110 glad your OH has decided to put on his big boy pants and do a SA, it's not like ttc, pregnancy or birth is a walk in the park for you so a quick jizz in a pot and await the results is the least he could do!

Hope you've rested up while off work @djmum83 and the sickness has settled a bit.

I feel your pain on the centre parcs trips @Minster2012 we've shuffled our caravan holiday about so many times it's not funny. Need normality to resume ASAP!

@notyetamumbuttrying that's amazing news on the SA! You and OH must be so relived and overjoyed at the news.

Very talented @tornado2Inc lovely jumper! I was going to suggest a calpol syringe if you and any but saw that great minds think alike 😂

Not long till your appointment @blackcurrantqueen must feel like a relief to know things are moving forward 😊

@Dollybird89 have you tried kettlebells for the days you dont want to do the hiit videos? I like chichi health and fitness Kettlewell workouts on YouTube he has short 15min ones that are good for when you're just starting out or short on time.
I used to do the Barbra currie yoga that @paintfairy was talking about, I found her the least irritating and not too airy fairy as some yoga videos can be. And new Zealand will be great motivation to spurr you on tho your motivation has seemed great anyways as its usually you spurring all us on 😊

@Franklydear fantastic news about the support for your appeal, fingers crossed it works.

@katao sounding promising that your appointment will go ahead next week 🤞

Sorry about the symptoms getting your hopes up @Minster2012. Ttc sucks it's official. What's the next step on your journey? Actually I won't be lazy, once DS is in bed and stops clamouring over the top of me I'm going to go back to the start of the bus and read thru it all properly.

Front of the house is looking lovely @2alreadywantanother, very petty of the previous tennant but then again thinking of it if someone had indicated I'd get first refusal then didn't give it to me after all the work I've put in it's the kind of petty thing I would likely have resorted to 🙈 Sucks for you, tho by the looks of things you've done a great job getting it to how you want it.

Big hugs @Justanothercyster hopefully once you get the scan all will be fine and it'll put your mind at ease.

Sorry if I've missed anyone I was speed reading/replying with an active 3 year old using me as a climbing frame. Will have a proper read once the monkey is in bed

lucyrp · 10/03/2021 18:11

@Justanothercyster I didn't feel pregnant at all until I hit 6+2 and then the sickness and nausea started and didn't stop until 12 weeks 😳😅 your scan will soon come along and I'm sure everything will be fine x

Florence13 · 10/03/2021 18:28

@Tornado2Inc the calpol thing had me howling I’m not going to lie 😂

@Justanothercyster aww hun we are still all here to support you and I completely get all the anxiety. It’s so hard in early pregnancy.

@Minster2012 af is literally a witch no matter which way you look at it. All I can say is I’m rooting for you the whole way and here for a handhold whenever you need it ☺️

paintfairy · 10/03/2021 18:28

@Justanothercyster my mum was months pregnant with me before she even knew! Don't forget not everyone has symptoms early. Definitely try not to worry x
@DKDK123 cool- I will do! Might spur me on. With regards to your tests- is this straight with the fertility people or do you have to do gp stuff first? It's been quite fast with the hospital for me, and if moving at that speed, then it really wouldn't delay you by much at all?
@Juno231 I usually ovulate day 11 or 12 and I think they won't do it whilst on AF? So it leaves a short window! But we shall see..... I don't mind, being it's December. 🤣 I mean, if I have to miss any month then that's the one I'd choose! Or January. Crappy January birthdays are miserable. 😆

Tornado2Inc · 10/03/2021 18:49

@Florence13 I'm gross and desperate 🤣

Kirky658 · 10/03/2021 18:50

@lucyrp when did you start to feel better after 12 weeks? I'm 13 weeks today and still feel sooooooo exhausted! Nausea has abated quite a lot thank god after last weeks sicky incident...

lucyrp · 10/03/2021 18:51

@Kirky658 in terms of being tired or ?? I'm still tired now and have to have early nights etc but I stopped napping in the dat at about 14 weeks.x

Kirky658 · 10/03/2021 18:54

@lucyrp defo in terms of the tiredness. I'm having 2 naps a day at the min and can't wait to go to bed every night. Sex drive has plummeted. Hoping it comes back everyone keeps saying the 2nd trimester is the best 😅

lucyrp · 10/03/2021 19:05

@Kirky658 we were having sex about once a week in first trimester if that and this week we've had it once a day for the last few days if not twice. My sex drive has gone back up😂 couldn't do doggy either it was very uncomfortable and now we can again 🤣x

Justanothercyster · 10/03/2021 19:52

Thank you @paintfairy I hope it's just that.

@Kirky658 I also have cramps every few days which scares the living hell out of me but apparently it's just the uterus stretching.
@lucyrp I haven't had sex since the 26th as I'm so scared of dislodging anything 😂 think dh is too!

lucyrp · 10/03/2021 19:53

@Justanothercyster @Kirky658 I currently am having really back lower to mid back pain and cramps around the front that are going down into my groin and trying not to worry 🤯 pregnancy is a minefield x

Katao · 10/03/2021 19:58

@Justanothercyster don't feel bad for posting, pregnancy is no picnic, just a whole different bunch of stress to ttc. Nobody expects you to ride off into the sunset with your bfp. We are still here for you! I think everything I was going to say has already been said but loads of people have no early symptoms. Excuse me if I sound like a bitter bitch here but when I was vomiting my way through pregnancy the amount of people who told me they were never sick or anything was staggering(why they felt the need to brag Ihaveno idea😂)). My friend who was pregnant along side me said all she had for proof was a bfp until her 12 week scan and evetual bump.

Minster2012 · 10/03/2021 20:05

@Florence13 thank you so much darling 😘you too, you know that

@Tornado2Inc love you are a dirty bitch

@Justanothercyster we all TOTALLY understand, don't worry babe. We'd all be the same, @2020mission said it really well

@DKDK123 totally get the head fuck thing. Must be so annoying & where was chat lateral flow pic! Our next step is waiting another 2 weeks for more negative pregnancy tests, bring on AF, phone clinic, start getting ready during that cycle to then go on the NEXT! But that AF could be another no show. Grrrrr

@2020mission I've watched this is us yes, I loved it. the programmes are: "bump birth & baby" on iplayer about Scottish mums, btw there's a lot of "I wasn't trying" 🙄and the surrogacy one is "our baby a modern miracle" which is about a transgender couple on channel 4. I haven't watched that yet, there's also a drama from last year about surrogacy which is pretty right but not how you find surrogates 😂called "the nest" from bbc which many ppl thought had to be entirely fictitious & asked me about "that couldn't happen could it?" Er yeah, it could. I won't say more. @paintfairy I think you also wanted to know?

So we just bid on the auction barns we wanted, we didn't get them. Fuckers.

OP posts:
Kirky658 · 10/03/2021 20:35

@justanothercyster I had cramps up to about 8 weeks hun, it's your uterus stretching and getting ready for bub! ❤️
@lucyrp wonder if those are the infamous ligament pains we are told to expect in the second trimester, apparently they can be so painful. I'm concerned mine will be horrendous as I had my surgery on my ligaments 🙄

blackcurrantqueen · 10/03/2021 20:37

@InkyPaper I got some from floweret!! So hopefully they'll be good !

@notyetamumbuttrying ooh when do you usually OV?! Mine varies from CD12-16 usually and I've got a 12 day LP!

@Minster2012 you are such a source of strength and love for so many of us; really sorry about the BFN but I will carry on holding hope that you absolutely will get your rainbow. One way or another!

@2alreadywantanother though not funny for you, that is a funny story that he literally took everything!!!

@paintfairy @Tornado2Inc @Kirky658 I also just use the preseed like lube ! No internal applications 😂

@DKDK123 I have no words just kind thoughts in your direction 😘

Hope you're all ok! I'm my usual grumpy shattered self from work!!!! Xx

lucyrp · 10/03/2021 20:37

@Kirky658 I think they most definitely are. Including the "round ligament" pains. Not enjoyable at all. Although back pain and a hot water bottle work well for me. Hasn't helped ive been in the car for 3 hours now as had to drive to an jour and a half away to take some clothes to hospital for OH grandad as he had a heart attack a couple of nights ago x

bez91 · 10/03/2021 20:41

Quick catch up, absolutely knackered from work today and haven't eaten properly so off to bed 🤗

@Tornado2Inc ahhhaha the calpol applicator 😂 fantastic! We have loads of syringes but I'm sure a calpol applicator is better!

@2020mission I've seen something similar to that link before, I think it can be reassuring/unnerving depending how far along you are and if you've had MCs before 😬 I don't get the height thing though unless it's for BMI?
