Last time we actually got reported straight away, for being too fun for MN...was it a week ago?? Maybe 😋😝but they can’t hold us back as the Harry Potter speed bus flies...

We’ve worked out a fleshlight for horses on a MN bus is NOT WELCOME, but how do I know what you have in your suitcase? I’m just the driver, a passenger’s belongings is their own responsibility, and my bags have LOADS of OPKs, loads of pills, fruit, veg, wine, gin & trainers for my workouts.

We aren’t just challenging ourselves to get pregnant & trying to help each other do so, we are also trying to help each other get fitter and sharing small changes we are making in our lives and trying to inspire & support each other with these too...

Hahaha @bez91 ive been putting my ttc related rubbish in the black bin for that reason! It was bad enough when I ordered 6 FRERs from Amazon and they came in a box with a label saying 'pregnancy tests' on the outside and it was our usual friendly postie who we're on first name terms with 🤦🏻‍♀️

Interesting @Minster2012 I wonder what the difference between the first and second jabs is?

Oh pants @Franklydear - maybe you need all your spare energy for sorting your DS's school place this month so it'll happen next month when that's all sorted?

@blackcurrantqueen really sorry to hear about your situation, it’s super frustrating.

I have decided against my endometrial scratch as it was costing £300 and the embryo we have frozen is only a C+ so the doctor says the biggest barrier to it succeeding is it actually surviving the thaw. We chatted it through and decided not to spend the £300 and go through all that pain, as if it then didn’t survive it would feel such a waste.
I’ll definitely look at it for our next cycle if this one doesn’t stick. AF is due on 13-14 March so just 10 days to go until I start meds, assuming she arrives on time.

@Justanothercyster @bez91 mines not as exciting as @Kirky658 I'm just having my 16 week appointment but hoping they can find the heartbeat with the Doppler as she said I'd be able to have a listen if I wanted to 🥰

@justanothercyster my DH is back in school full time this week but there without the kids. He's happy because they are getting free food all this week lol for lunch. They've been given take home testing kits and he's got to test Wednesday night and Sunday night and upload it to an NHS portal. And like you say the kids have to do their own... Bloody ridiculous!!! I'm lucky the kids he teaches are 14+ so at least he isn't in prolonged contact with them.

@larrythelizard 🤣 I actually like Taylor Swift. Well, some of her earlier stuff anyway. But this wasn't that, something to do with copyright, so they were songs i didn't even really know. But they were upbeat. I don't care for her newer stuff. My back is crap though and I hurt myself often. 🙄 Today I've got stomach muscles hurting that I didn't know i had! 🤣
@Minster2012 ah they mentioned the vaccine to me on Monday too! She said was I thinking of getting it. Said it was safe to before pregnancy, so if they call me I'm better booking it for the first half of my cycle because then I would know i wouldn't be. The first one gives you 75% coverage or something. But then you'd not have the 2nd one, you'd just have to restart again after the baby. She said its looking like the Pfizer one is at least safe to give when pregnant (i pointed out you don't know which you get though, until you get there- and she agreed) but there's just not enough research done yet to be categorically sure. The others seem a no go atm. I'm not really sure that's helpful to you though @Justanothercyster

@Minster2012 that is interesting on the vaccine front I mean I know quite a lot of health professionals who have been having the vaccine pregnant. Hopefully soon there will be more solid data in pregnancy but if your high risk definitely think it’s safer to have it than to risk Covid whilst pregnant.

@Minster2012 I actually really like working from home although long term I would prefer a mix of office and home each week so I can still see colleagues. Not sure if that will be allowed though as my manager is inflexible... I think he will say everyone must be in and it will be back to the awful rush hour commutes for bums on seats from 9-5.30, just so you can be watched.

AF is here so will call the doctor this afternoon. Quick question... if you were me would you keep quiet about the chemicals in January 2020 and August 2020? I wonder if I mention them they will think they can leave me to keep trying as I am but at the same time I don’t really like lying and also if I catch again and have another chemical I can say well that’s 3 now 🤔

@2020mission hm tough one. You should be fine with the Aug 2020 one as I think they tell you to wait 6 months after a miscarriage but not sure whether you should say about the Jan one! I think you might be best off being honest and I mean overall it's been nearly a year and a half no? They should run some basic tests at least.

Yeah that’s true @Juno231 thanks. I also don’t want to forget and accidentally mention them later 😬 I am going to push with the 3-5 days of spotting running up to AF as I definitely never had this before starting TTC so something changed. Over the last year a handful of times I’ve also had a sudden intense cramping mid cycle followed by blood (a bit more than spotting) which was new for me too so definitely think something is off. Finally I had a cycle that was just 19 days long in October 🤷‍♀️ surely those will make them want to test haha

@Kirky658 yeah I'm in tomorrow and Friday for the full days, no kids either. My kids are also secondary, but our school and classes are so small I can't escape 😷

I've been quite good today. Almost like I'm so exhausted from being heartbroken that I've gone a bit numb 🤷🏼‍♀️ don't have the energy to be sad. No doubt that'll change tomorrow but happy to roll with the positive feelings for now.

Oh and no MAFS couples definitely do not get legally married here!! I can't believe they do in other countries?!! That's quite shocking.

@skip86 hey lovely glad you've got some vallium and that you're doing OK considering. It's probably going to be an up & down journey with good & bad days mixed up. But you're strong, and you've got this. And when you're not feeling strong you know we've all got you 💪🏻

There's no update from me unfortunately cd20 and still no peak on opk, but that's no suprise ad I've had no changed in cm to suggest ovulation is soon either 🤷🏻‍♀️ so looks like it's going to be a long cycle again.

So an interesting observation from having had both covid jabs... Ive had the same reaction again to my 2nd Covid jab as I got with my 1st. I get this lymphatic reaction where my armpit is really uncomfortable & painful due to swollen lymph nodes. I didn't know what it was last time so went to the GP about it worried it might be something sinister but she reassured me there wasn't anything to worry about. This time I had the jab in the other arm and the same things happened again. I get discomfort in both armpits but the side where the jab was is much worse, like uncomfortable to keep my arm by my side. Anyway I googled this time why does that happen just out of curiosity and a load of articles came up from a few days ago reporting women having the same reaction to it and it mimicking symptoms of breast cancer (lumps and pain in armpit) but it all coming back as a reaction to the covid vaccine. And not cancer at all. I'm not writing this to scare anyone, I actually found it reassuring because I was really worried and it turns out it's not just me. It's the bodys immune system doing its thing its OK. Apparently the lymph swelling should go away completely 6-8 weeks after the jab and if you still have pain & lumps THEN they recommend you get a check.
