Supporting ‘small changes’ into spring whilst TTC...🌱🌼🌸🍀- Fun Bus 34

Last time we actually got reported straight away, for being too fun for MN...was it a week ago?? Maybe 😋😝but they can’t hold us back as the Harry Potter speed bus flies...

We’ve worked out a fleshlight for horses on a MN bus is NOT WELCOME, but how do I know what you have in your suitcase? I’m just the driver, a passenger’s belongings is their own responsibility, and my bags have LOADS of OPKs, loads of pills, fruit, veg, wine, gin & trainers for my workouts.

We aren’t just challenging ourselves to get pregnant & trying to help each other do so, we are also trying to help each other get fitter and sharing small changes we are making in our lives and trying to inspire & support each other with these too...

Have a look at the small changes beside the names and see if you want to try them yourself or add in your own!

We are in this together 🥰♥️🙌🏻💪🏻
Spring is coming, and so are we 😘🦄🍀🌸🌷🌻🌼

And if you see mention of my blog then blame these guys they made me do it...#shamelessplug

@Dollybird89 you are doing amazing! Love reading your updates 😃 you have definitely earned your little shopping spree, boom 💪

Minster2012 · 25/02/2021 14:31

@2020mission extra hormones from cows milk? What extra hormones are these? And def go for the gold nails...pic please! And on Insta and tag me...I might do mine a yellow I have!! Loving yours @Dollybird89 and agree very Britney! Why would you get disparaging looks in this day and age @Gensola??

@Juno231 what are these rectal antibiotics you need to take for?? 😱😰😳

OP posts:
Juno231 · 25/02/2021 14:41

@Minster2012 for my HSG! There's estrogen, progesterone and prolactin in cow's milk, not to mention bovine growth hormones.

larrythelizard · 25/02/2021 15:09

@Gensola @2020mission dairy doesn't like me and I don't allow myself caffeine (other than an occasional Diet Coke) after 1pm so I am that person the regularly orders decaf oat lattes! No fucks given from me!!

@Juno231 I have self-diagnosed (with the help of dr google haha) that I am lacking progesterone so shame I can't drink cows milk! I know soya has a lot of estrogen in so I do avoid that.

@Minster2012 things are looking hopefully for ovulation...!!

@Dollybird89 that's bloody impressive, well done!! Like the nails too. Might even do mine tomorrow!

Weather is lush here so I'm just sat outside in the garden in the sun! If the wind would stop it would be perfect, as it is I'm almost on the verge of needing my coat!

Juno231 · 25/02/2021 15:14

@larrythelizard ha tbf I don't think research indicates any harm in drinking it - but then again it's usually sponsored by the dairy industry so I never dare trust food related research lol. Don't they attribute the height of the Dutch to their crazy cheese consumption aka dairy growth hormones??

Minster2012 · 25/02/2021 15:40

Why don't we all have a positive nail post then for the weekend??
That sounds like a nice idea!

I didn't realise that @Juno231 on the hormones
but why is it an issue?? What's the HSG show? Your turn to educate me! And I'm excited to hear your sims on being Rich in your job salary wise vs mat leave when you get pregnant!

@larrythelizard maybe going up for ovulation but who knows, it's still very low so nothing much 🤪

@Minster2012 very true lovely, very true. Yay about the opk! 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

Right, I'm signing off as I have parents evening tonight so will be dead after. Have a good evening everyone, catch up tomorrow!

Juno231 · 25/02/2021 15:48

@Minster2012 I haven't played the sims in years but I assume that was a typo? Grin. The HSG is pretty much the same as a hycosy but less good for you lol. They insert a catheter through the cervix and inject a dye whilst taking xrays (hycosy is ultrasound so less radiation). Can be pretty darn painful! Ladies on reddit talk about wanting to pass out from pain lol so I'm a bit nervous.

Minster2012 · 25/02/2021 15:51

@Justanothercyster ooooo good luck with parents evening wine afterwards!!

@Juno231 sorry I meant sums 🤪😜😆 oh I mean that sounds great, not ouch

Juno231 · 25/02/2021 16:06

@Minster2012 Aah Yes. Well after tax the increase in salary is basically £X/month. And my current place pays 6 months full salary for mat leave - let's make that Y. Y=52X so it would take me 4 years and 4 months (assuming no salary increases) to break even on that lost mat leave pay. Does it make sense or am I bonkers?

2020mission · 25/02/2021 16:29

Anyone else checking their HMRC tax account today? They have added a note if your employer claimed furlough for you in December 2020... and my employer has! I was never told and worked full time hours 😠 can't wait to quit after maternity leave

2020mission · 25/02/2021 16:32

I realise below that sounds like I'm on maternity leave 🤣 I mean if I get pregnant soon as I will wait in the job for maternity leave/pay then find somewhere new.

Crazydoglady123 · 25/02/2021 16:41

@Juno231 if the same process of injecting the dye through the cervix etc is the same as a Hycosy I can say mine was okay.

@2020mission that's really bad they've claimed furlough while you've worked full time!

Franklydear · 25/02/2021 17:07

@Minster2012 I did 10 min of the movie one, I liked it but fuck, maybe not when I have to rush off right after
The school is stressful because different schools have different provision for autistic children, the one we asked for is great small clases, extra teacher assistant, buddy system and clubs so the whole day is structured, the one I can see from the window does nothing at all, I rather homeschool

Franklydear · 25/02/2021 17:27

@Dollybird89 lovely nails, and great two sizes down! The workout was the greatest showman I'll do the second half on Saturday
@2020mission do it, go bold!

Franklydear · 25/02/2021 17:32

@2020mission I would shop them in, call HMRC and go there's been a mistake, they're clamping down hard

I feel ok after the vaccine, I had astra zeneca, but more tired than usual, would it be awful if I take tomorrow off even if I don't really need it?

Dollybird89 · 25/02/2021 17:43

Thanks for all the support ladies. It's so great to have physical proof that it's working! If that's not a boost to keep pushing I don't know what is.

My dam gel nail polish has peeled off already! Gonna use my opi stuff tomorrow instead. I love that just a small thing like doing our nails can give us a lil pamper boost too!

Quick rant.... why do fitbits have to cost so damn much?!? I have a cheapo chinesium one atm and it keeps turning off and I want to get a decent one but they are super expensive!

Also considering getting some of the fitness bands you can get for working out .. emkfit does a workout with these too!

All this fitness is at least distracting me from the absent af and lack of conception.

Dollybird89 · 25/02/2021 17:44

@franklydear ive had 2 naps today after vaccine yesterday and still feel tired. Take the day off to rest tomorrow no one will judge! Have a potato day!! 🥔🥔🥔😁😁😁

Juno231 · 25/02/2021 18:07

@Dollybird89 I love my fitbit so def think they're worth it if you're unsure! Have a look on ebay maybe? I can see a charge 3 on there for £25 and expiring tomorrow with only one bid on it

Dollybird89 · 25/02/2021 18:13

@juno231 I can't get anything till next week unfortunately spent my pennies this week on new clothes lol

Franklydear · 25/02/2021 18:28

DH new positive change, well you're going to be pregnant for your second dose😲

Vil10 · 25/02/2021 18:53

@Juno231 we can do it💪🏽

@Minster2012 🤞🏼🤞🏼 for the opk!!

@Dollybird89 fitbits are definitely worth it! I love mine, wear it all day everyday and sleep with it on, literally tracks everything!

Well I've had such a productive day today! Did a walk early this morning, then a 40 minute hiit on the treadmill followed by a glute focused workout with my glute band, then just got home from a walk now, just in time for my meat delivery, and I mean the butchers delivery not the 🍆

Juno231 · 25/02/2021 19:23

@vil10 wow that's an amazingly active day! Just found out our friends wedding has been rescheduled for the 24th of July which is 21 weeks away so... I could DEF do just a pound a week until then no??

blackcurrantqueen · 25/02/2021 19:24

Evening ladies!
Hope you're all ok
I am exhausted!

@Minster2012 yay for a rising OPK! Regardless we will take that as a good sign!

@Juno231 good luck tomorrow! 🤞🏼💕 Hopefully it will be ok!

I can't have nice nails for work. Though all the vitamins I'm taking have made them grow!! 😂

You'll all be proud I didn't POAS!!!
