@1sttime21 Aw thank you!! TBH I'm not expecting anything this month as I only came off my pill in December.. but was my first time doing OPK's (positive tests indicated I ovulated beginning of this week) so all quite exciting, and I guess you never know!

Hi, hoping I can join.
It's my 5th month ttc no.2. I have had 2 chemical pregnancies so far so it's been a bit of a rollercoaster to start with but then I've just had 2 months of nothing happening. My husband is already starting to talk about giving up so I'm not talking to him at the moment 🤣. CD1 for me today, fingers crossed this is a good month!

We are on cylce 11 but for alot of those I wouldn't class us as actively ttc because we were working our socks of 7 days a week and too tired to care about ovulation dates😂 but now we are in lockdown so 2nd cycle in a row of actively trying 🤞.. And you are totally right you never know lots of women fall pregnant on the first cycle😁x

@1sttime21 aw fingers crossed for you! Definitely one of the few benefits of lockdown eh, more time to focus on TTC. Myself and DP literally said the same the other day 'look at all this spare time we have!' Convinced thats why I'm seeing so many pregnancy announcements at the moment.

My friend did similar to you, came off her pill early last year wasn't really actively trying, but started seriously trying end of last year and is now pregnant How far are you in your cycle, are you in your TWW? x

Hi @Annannanna , I'm so sorry to hear about your two chemical pregnancies, I can only imagine how hard that was. I'm sure your husband will come round too, just imagine it's all the emotions at the moment. Like with everything happening on top of TTC.

I have everything crossed for you that this is a good month and you get your BFP very soon x

Thank you! I'm going to sulk until I get my own way anyway, that usually works! I've been asking for years for another baby and he finally agreed so it would be awful for him to give up after just a few months! I think he worries about COVID & everything going on but I have my heart set on it and so does our 6 year old daughter! Xx

Had my implanon implant removed last week and ttc #3. I’ve no idea when AF is due and not going to bother with opk’s this month...will just test on 10th March (4 weeks post implant removal) to see if anything has happened

I informed the other half of tonight's plan.. well he got in from work late and back out at 6:30 until 10 as he's a firefighter so he said "I'll see how I feel, I might Chuck a mix in, I might not"

Fingers crossed for me 🤞🏻 got a higher LH reading tonight than this morning so not sure what's going on but worth a shot... if I'm allowed 😂

@jodielouise26 I'd be pinning him down! 😂😂 or throwing him a pot and telling him to make a deposit!

Mine sometimes gets "stage fright" when I put too much pressure... but I've had to tell him to just man up and crack on!

By the end of fertile week I'm DONE with seeing "D" 😂😂 but I think it's easier for girls than guys.

BBT ladies... what are your pre ov temps verses LP temps? Do you have an obvious shift?

@Cakelaur I'll see how that goes 👀😂 not suffered the stage fright yet.. probably because we've never really actively "tried" and I've never put it on him and said when, where, exact times etc we have to dtd. but now I'm trying whether he is or not!

He did say to me earlier, "you don't want me for the sex, you just want me for the baby" correct, right now this week yes, you're right for once ! 🤣

If I told him my sex was on fire.. he'd probably just laugh 😒

Hope he does come home at 10... and isn't putting a fire out somewhere until midnight, then I'll be asleep 😴

BBT ladies... what are your pre ov temps verses LP temps? Do you have an obvious shift?

My pre ov temps are around 35.5 and after ovulation they go up to around 37 so there is a definite shift followed by a big drop of doom today when AF arrived!

@Annannanna yeah so mine isn't as big a shift. Usually 36.3 and after is 36.6 but they're a bit Rocky. We'll see how it goes. I used to temp vaginally. (Years ago with my first) I may have to switch it up.

My thermometer has come! I will be joining the BBT charting but im not expecting it to be 100% accurate as I do wake up all different times and if DD is up in the night / I need a pee in the night it might mix it up a bit. Will see how I get on! First temp tomorrow morning. CD8 tomorrow - hopefully thats not too late to start

@girlmummy25 cd8 should be fine, it will give you a few days to find out what your pre ovulation temps are. I wake in the night a few times for the loo or to see my dd but my temps always clearly show when I ovulate. I make sure I take my temp as soon as I wake in the morning, before I move at all & find that's best.

Hi to all the new arrivals! We are moving house next week so super busy!
@cakelaur my temps before ov are around 36.3 then go up to around 36.6-36.8. Some months I have a very slow rise after ov and others it shoots straight up.
I always wake up in the night for a wee bit since cutting down on caffeine I’ve noticed I haven’t been getting up as much and I use the bbt corrector if I get up earlier or later- which is inevitable with 2 kids who refuse to sleep 😆

You could test one more time to see if the reading drops. If yes, CD 27 would be your peak.

Hey all, bit of TMI here but hope this is ok.. just wondering if anyone has had similar happen to me?

My AF started 28th January and was my first full one since coming off the pill. Since then I have been using OPK's and had my LH surge Sunday (Valentines day!). But today I've noticed a bit of light bleeding mainly when I wipe. This doesn't seem like it could be my period as that would be a very short cycle, and my surge wasn't until last weekend? Also no other symptoms.

I have never bled after DTD but needless to say DP and I have been doing it a lot this week as it's my fertile week. Has anyone noticed this happen when they've been more 'active?'

@Janey3090 it could be implantation, could be ovulation bleeding (some women get it) could be an over worked vagina! 😂
