@cf8899 Also, you're not out until AF shows which hopefully she doesn't. I'm feeling a bit deflated today after a BFN on FRER but I'm only 9DPO. I'm trying to pick my mood up and telling myself I'm not out until AF shows xx

Yeah I still have another frer and a few easy at home, I'm not really sure but I know I got my peak smiley on the 2nd so I'm guessing I ovulated the next day which would make me 11dpo xx

BFN on a frer this morning 😭 but my temp has gone through the roof. Gutted as I’m 12dpo so feel like a frer at this stage is pretty accurate and I’m out 😓

@cf8899 11DPO is still pretty early though! I've seen lots of people saying they haven't got their BFP's until like 16/17 DPO xx

@WillowRose1411 Don't count yourself out yet, 12DPO is still pretty early and lots of people don't get their BFP's until a few days later xx

@Confused678866 thank you. I just hate the not knowing and the clinging on to that hope. I find that first day of af so depressing and upsetting. 😔

@Confused678866 gonna try keep hopeful, I honestly think I'm seeing things because the lines on the easy at home strips are soo soo faint. I'll take another test in the morning and see

@WillowRose1411 I'm exactly the same as you. Even though I'm no longer feeling hopeful this month, I'm still clinging on to things and I'll be crushed when AF arrives for a day or two, I always am! Xx

@cf8899 Yes definitely remain hopeful, AF isn't here so you're not out yet. See how you go over the next couple of days xx

Hi hun everyone!! Sorry! Such a manic day at work!

So update on me! Absolutely nothing to report. Now 3 days late! Didn't bother testing this morning! Got a dash of red spotting this afternoon. Assumed it was AF (🎉🎉🎉) my temp is slowly dropping. But still well above coverline! I'm totally bored and fed up!! I should be half way through my period by now and well on my way to planning next months fertile week!! I'm not going to test until Friday. I'm not even sure what I do if no AF but Friday and then I get a bfn?! I'm pretty certain I ovulate as I do bbt... is it even a thing, to ovulate and then not get a period?! 🤯

Sorry... meant to add... the red spotting stopped. It was just on wiping... now nothing (that was about 6hrs ago)

Think I'm gonna go and have a hot bath and will AF to come! On the plus side. This month I had a 12/13 day LP!!

Does anyone think spotting is an issue?

I'm the same, I have been spotting slightly for 2 days. This has happened for the last few months and has always led to AF but I can't help but cling to the slight bit of hope x

@Cakelaur do you usually have a short luteal phase? X

@Annannanna I've always had a 10day LP. I quite often had the odd spotting day right before AF would show. But now I spot from 7/8dpo on and off until AF shows. I got pregnant in nov 2017 and had mmc, then 3 months later fell pregnant in March and had my 1st in December. Then fell pregnant unplanned with baby number 2 who was born just under a year ago, so I had my first proper period since November 2017, in October 2020! 😂 so this is my 5th cycle, but 6th periods and all have been different. (I guess as my body is adjusting back to normal) I'm hoping my new normal is a 12day LP.

BFN this AM 9/10 DPO

All this spotting I have had the past couple of days is clearly AF rearing her ugly head as this morning it's a darker brown.

I'm on CD23 today, never have i started to come on this early, I'm like text book 27-29 day cycles.
My LP has been so short now 😟

Why would it do this to me when I'm trying?
Feel like giving up 😣

@LKB89 Hey, just read your post about your spotting and that's it has changed to darker brown.... I had this with my 2019 baby. I don't obviously want to give you false hope but just wanted to know what your spotting was like the last couple of days??
Basically, when I fell pregnant back in 2018, I didn't know because I assumed I had a 'light period' as it was just after getting off the pill so I though my body was trying to regulate itself. Turns out it must have been implantation bleeding as that's the only logical explanation. I found out I was pregnant at about 6/7 weeks. Told the midwife about the bleeding and she said it would have been implantation as it was a few days before period was due. When I then read about implantation bleeding because I didn't have a clue what it was, I read so many articles saying how it should be only a few drops, maybe for a day etc etc.
Mine went on for about 3 days, it was lighter but I had a mixture of red and brown blood, definitely lots of brown.

Also if it is your period, I know how frustrating it can be to get it so early. Last month, I had so many 'symptoms' so I used a FRER 6 days before period due. Just as I'd used it, I wiped, and there was blood. I can on my period at CD22, 6 days early, straight after doing a test! Have a feeling that's what's happening this month too!
