Am I in the TWW?

Hello ladies,

Me and my partner were planning on TTC in Feb but I would've had started last year if it was up to me. Anyway according to my app my peak day ovulating was Thursday and we were DTD Friday and my OH was like oh let's just go for it..I'm going in. I was very happy about it!
I'd been using OPKs but where work has been so mental this month I hadn't bothered. So don't know what my peak day was. The app isn't always right is it.

I am realllly hoping that we ended up DTD on the right day and end up with a BFP. I've been taking the right supplements for months and eating well.. doing everything I should.

Hey! I’ve actually managed to stay off the phone / internet and keep busy today. That said, most of my symptoms (or what I thought were) have vanished. My boobs niggle every now and then, but it is cold and I have been doing mini home workouts 🤣 could be just about anything other than pregnancy!

I was thinking if I would test early I would use a first response - because I don’t want to panic with the uncertainty of a unclear line. Then I would use it 6 days before my period is due, as the packet suggests 🤣 ... if negative I know I only have a few more days to wait, I’d probs do another first response 3 days later and then if that still was BFN, wait until I miss AF!

This is my first month TTC though- so I am yet to waste the money on them all. I know to some that might seem a waste. But now my plans have changed anyway... now that (what I thought could be) signals have gone, I might just wait and see what AF decides! Weirdly, them vanishing has chilled me out somewhat.

@sunflowersaremyfav93 I've been so busy at work today, my mind hasn't drifted! Apart from the 30 minutes googling about lubricant and whether its bad, and I should get good for fertility stuff. Sounds like a next month problem, there's enough to think about right now 🤣

@lottieb92 I've only got one FRER test in the cupboard atm and I'm going to put it off as long as possible. We'll see how long that lasts 🤣 I'll have to order some more for sure.

I very super nearly bought a test today as I was out doing the food shop and boobs began to hurt again, but they didn’t have any FR! So that was a sign to calm down.

FR website say I can test on the 4th, I am now scared and excited 🤣

Hey ladies, I had some cramping in my left side .. instantly thinking it was like my implantation cramps last pregnancy! Trying not to think too much into it, this may just be normal and I've never noticed because I'm not normally looking for it 🤣

I also don't have any tests in the house, no temptation. I really want to hold off till AF is late!

Hey @chickennuggets2 all good signs! How long is it until missed? You’ve got this! Stay strong, I had to rush past shops today to not buy tests 🤣

@lottieb92 AF due anywhere between 14-17th, I'll probably give till the 19th till I test as a precaution for a bit of a funk in my pattern.
Lol I went to the shop and stood looking at them fighting with my self to not buy them, like chocolate if it's not there it won't template me 🤣🤣

@lottie92 I like your thinking, I think I’ll do the same as well. 6 days before AF is so good as well.. the only thing is I don’t want a false positive so wonder if I’m best waiting. I know what you mean I think it can be so easy to spend loads on tests and ovulation sticks?!

@rosamay48 haha what were your findings? I was going to get us some preseed.

Ah yes @chickennuggets2 sounds very good!! I’m divering between waiting until AF and getting a FRER.

I just keep feeling period like cramps but I’m looking out for things now so don’t know if this is something I have always had and just never paid any attention to. I think I’m going to try and wait until AF is due and I have one test at home just in case it’s late. I won’t get my hopes up though... the period cramps though, is that normal?

Just sitting here having my morning (and only) coffee of the day, I have decaf the rest of the day and I've just had a sharp pain in my left side. Yesterday I was getting those horrible shooting pains 'down there' I really need to try chill haha!!

@sunflowersaremyfav93 I'm a little confused to be honest. I guess it couldn't hurt, lots of positive reviews but then I wasn't entirely sure if the sources were credible. I've searched for it on MN and lots of people recommend it so I'll give it a go. It's not a huge investment, so either its not necessary and just a marketing racket or it'll help! Conceive Plus was also recommended.

The first (and only caffeinated) coffee in the more is THE BEST. The decaf yorkshire tea in the afternoon is just about doing it for me.

I feel teary this morning, but that might also be due to the pandemic haha

Hahahahaha, I'm feeling so impatient!

Surprise surprise, I got a BFP- I bought a two pack of first response! But I’m not due until the 10th Feb. So what did I expect lol, at least use me as the guinea pig, defo wait it out. I could have had a yummy Starbucks with that £10.50

I’m feeling okay though, it was kind of nice to just get that first one out of the way! 🥳
I will use the next FR on the 6th Feb... see if I get anything, I’m glad I can concentrate on work now for the next four days!

I was also confused, hoping its positive but the rest of the message suggests not.

I agree about getting the first one out the way. I tested last month when we'd only stopped using condoms and maybe DTD twice in the window and then did some maths and thought sod it, you never know. It enabled me to 'move on' with my thought process and concentrate on other things for a few days. I think its also given me more confidence to wait a little longer this month.

Another few more days but @rosamay48 is right. I feel like a weights been lifted and ive just restarted a TWW (except it’s only one week!) so it’s kind of nice knowing it is no where near as long until I know for sure 😙

Haha ah I got very excited for you! @lottieb92 I've just ordered myself some clearblue ultra early and will test Saturday morning.. we didn't really try so will be giving it a good go for this months fertile week! 🤞🏻

I spotted again this morning, only on wiping.. starting to think maybe it's AF going to show early, which in return means my ovulation would be at a different time 😬

Could it be implantation @chickennuggets2 ?

@sunflowersaremyfav93 I guess it could be, I never had any bleeding with my last pregnancy so I'm going off that. I need to remember every pregnancy is different.
