AF every month 27th
Last AF December 27th
positive ovulation test Jan 15th. DTD 14th & 15th. AF due Jan 27th.
When is the earliest you would test?
I'm definitely not imagining it but have more discharge than usual, stomach always rumbling even while eating. Gas, horrendous low back pain and cramps. Sorry if tmi.
I know alot is common AF signs....but you know how it is when you are hopeful.
Thanks x
@Sesamechick So... still getting a tiny bit of brown spotting, hasn’t turned into proper AF yet. Am I silly for hoping it might be implantation bleeding? Do you think I have a chance of a positive if I test tomorrow? (11dpo today, spotting started at 10dpo, last test bfn at 9DPO)

Hi @TerrifiedOfTrying4No2 Grin
@Tryingandhoping2020

Remind me please when your AF due?
I've been driving myselt crazy with symptom spotting and convincing myself that a faint positive will show up just like it seems to majority of others on Mumsnet...but it hasn't. It's really gotten me down and today my AF is due but going to wait till tomorrow to test if AF not here today.i dont think its silly if you to think its IB. It does sound like it!! Fingers crossed for you xx

@Sesamechick not entirely sure as my periods are slightly irregular but I’m expecting it any time now. 2 weeks from ovulation would be Friday 🤷🏼‍♀️ I’m on CD33. Nothing to do but wait and see I guess.

Got my fingers crossed for you too, it’s not over till AF shows up! I know it’s so easy to get down about it, I have been a rollercoaster of emotions this week. Sending hugs xx

Sesamechick · 27/01/2021 12:26

@Tryingandhoping2020
How frustrating for you not knowing when AF is due!
The waiting game is the worst but it's really the best option for us otherwise we drive ourselves mad (I'm one to speak!)
I always feel weird saying my symptoms bc if I were to get AF today then I feel like a complete idiot amd the disappointment is worse, do you know what I mean?
It's also little changes that I have noticed within myself but I'm afraid to get 'excited' about them. Will waitt and see....
Hugs and fingers crossed for you xxxx

@Sesamechick yeah I only came off the pill in September so I think my cycles are still a little odd, always within a few days either side though so hopefully by next week I should have an answer.

Yes I totally understand what you mean about symptom spotting! Almost feels like acknowledging possible symptoms is jinxing it or something haha xxx

MrsC89 · 27/01/2021 13:26

@Sesamechick to he honest I feel absolutely fine, so I imagine AF is lurking and will appear just late to mess with my head

Sesamechick · 28/01/2021 06:02

So frustrating.
AF was due yesterday (27th)
I'm 13dpo ( got 1 positive ovulation test on the 15th) and all tests BFN.
Pics from this morning with FMU. Boots pregnancy strip tests.

Sesamechick · 28/01/2021 15:44

@Emerald4512
Nothing!
Due AF yesterday. All tests BFN. Feeling really shi**y to be honest. Dont want to get too excited just to be disappointed. Going to do a cheap one in morning!

MaltyJones92 · 28/01/2021 20:57

@Sesamechick never mind lovely - there's always next month. I've already told my other half we're just going to have to try twice as hard this time 🤣 What month of TTC are you? I'm only month four but it's hard not to get frustrated!

Sesamechick · 29/01/2021 06:32

@MaltyJones92

AF definitely here. I'm honestly shocked as I've had the strangest symptoms which I have never had before. I'm feeling really down about it tbh.
Came off BC mid August. Periods have been v regular since then. Always the 27th. We weren't actively trying from August and also husband was away for work alot (keyworker) so wasn't tracking ovulation etc
Jan was the 1st month I was tracking it.
Like you I feel so frustrated. I've been very lucky in the past. I feel pregnant with my 3 other children the month I came off BC.
Fingers crossed for the both of us this will be our cycle x

I’m sorry @Sesamechick and @MaltyJones92 Sad fingers crossed for you next month! Xx

MaltyJones92 · 29/01/2021 08:08

@Sesamechick This was also my first month of properly trying. Since October we have been very casual about it all, but we agreed January was the time we would really try. I've never been pregnant before so have no idea what symptoms to expect, but I was also convinced this month was my month. It's the two very faint positives I had that completely threw me off. I was telling my OH yesterday that I don't think lockdown is helping the situation at all. Normally I would be out and about at work and seeing people, but now that I can't do any of that I've turned to obsessing about this instead 😅🤦🏻‍♀️ I think I'll let myself care about it again this month with the ovulation strips and the apps, but if it doesn't happen then I'm going to try and make myself take a step back from all that and go with the flow a bit more.

MaltyJones92 · 29/01/2021 08:10

@Sesamechick I have also just had to postpone/cancel my wedding for a second time which isn't helping. We were supposed to have the big white wedding back in November, then decided to scale it back completely to 15 people for end of February, but now we can't do that either. I think we all put too much pressure on ourselves sometimes! 🤣

MaltyJones92 · 29/01/2021 08:11

@Tryingandhoping2020 Thank you! I hope everything goes well for you over the next nine months xx

Emerald4512 · 29/01/2021 21:43

Congrats @Tryingandhoping2020!

To the rest of us, it's frustrating but it's not the end of the world, although it's soooooooooooo hard not obsess over it but at least we know now. X
