Hi!
Currently TTC for the first time and majorly psyching myself out.
Coil removed Sept 2020 and cycles lighter than before I had coil + are varying in days.
Previous history of endometriosis which, I guess, is making me more concerned it’s going to be harder.
I worrying that it’s going to take a while and wondering if anyone also TTC 1st at this age?
Anyone going through similar or have any tips to help feel a little more calm about things?
Haven’t started to get fertility tests etc as feel will make it worse. Never really thought about it until now and now it’s happening, realise how much I do want it 🙏🏻😅

Hi OP,

I’m 33 and we started trying for our 1st in November. I am currently awaiting a diagnosis for suspected Endo

Not going to lie, I’ve found this journey much harder mentally than I thought I would and we’re only 3 months in Blush I’m trying not to worry too much re suspected endo as there’s nothing I can do about that right now.

I highly recommend the Clear Blue OPK kit or the CB fertility monitor (I have both Blush) and pre-seed.

Definitely track ovulation if you don’t already. Good luck Smile

Hi @SweetShopSurprise,

Good to hear from you!
It’s crazy how much it starts to get to you without realising!
Thank you so much for the recommendation, will definitely start tracking this month - just ordered a pack on Amazon Smile
On the endo front, if it helps, I had three laparoscopies and each time they said it was all flowing through ok (they use dye to make sure nothings blocked), so try not to worry too much!
Have also read this morning that the Mirena coil can make the lining of your womb very light for first few months from removal so fingers crossed, it should start to pick up!
Sending you all the positive vibes and hope you get a BFP soon!
Let me know how you get on! X

I had my first at 32, conceived 2nd month. Pregnant again at 34 but MMC (conceived first month) and since the MMC have found out I have endo and had surgery to remove! So basically the endo didn’t affect my fertility at all and so it won’t necessarily be an issue.

My top tip is get clearblue dual hormone ovulation tests, they’ve pricey but worth it. And also some sort of app just so you can track everything (I use Ovia)

Good luck! Xx
