Hi @TinyPuds welcome! I use the Flo app too and this is also my first cycle ttc and I’m due on the 8th too! I think I’m going to test on 4th but I know it might be a little early. When are you planning to test?

Hi all - I hope you don’t mind me joining! It’s been great reading all the messages in this thread as I am around the same timings as you all. I am 8 dpo today (I think) and just got a bfn on a frer and feel so deflated although I know it was probably too early to test. I haven’t really had any symptoms although I think I may have had some very very mild cramping although maybe it’s all in my head. This is my first time ttc and this tww is absolutely doing my head in especially being over the holidays and during a lock down where I live :( I’m hoping that I could still get a bfp in the next few days although this bfn has made me think nothing has happened this month.

How is everyone feeling now? Anyone else with no symptoms? sending everyone all the best of luck and hopefully the beginning of 2021 can bring us all some happy news xxx

@pop2011 I had not symptoms and got my BFP today at 10DPO. I'd take any test results before 10DPO with a pinch of salt. And it's perfectly normal to not get a BFP until 12DPO.

@Curiosity101 Congratulations!!! Good to know you got your bfp and had no symptoms. Thank you for your message. Just need to try and hold out for another few days before testing again!

I'm 8dpo but got a BFN this morning on an IC but I know it's mega early to test - just wanted to!

AF not due until 5th so still loads of time for that to change - ordered some FREF to try later this week

I've had no symptoms except a popping sensation to the left of my bellybutton - however it may just be trapped wind 🙈😂

With my DS I had no symptoms at all so I know symptoms don't always need to be there!

@pop2011 Thanks 😊. In all honesty I'm 100% convinced that the majority of people don't have symptoms before a missed period. Early pregnancy and PMS are pretty much indistinguishable for most people. Wishing you luck for a few days time 🤞. You can see in mine that my IC was a BFN. But I felt like I could see the start of something on it so I tried a FRER and got a super clear positive.

@Lynne425 I was exactly the same as you with my DS. No symptoms at all until 5-6 weeks (except a missed period). Wishing you luck! My IC was completely BFN even up until this morning. But I felt like maybe I could see something which is why I followed it with a FRER. I might carry on doing my ICs (looks like I bought too many if this is a sticky bean). I'd be interested to see when the ICs confirm the pregnancy.

@Curiosity101 amazing news, Congratulations!! Good to hear that you didn’t have any symptoms, gives us all a bit of hope. Sometime I think oh that must be a symptom, I’m definitely pregnant... the next moment I feel nothing at all. Hope the tww goes quickly for us all

@pop2011 8dpo is so early to test so don’t lose hope. Keeping my fingers crossed you get your bfp in the next feed days

@pop2011 I'm 8dpo too (also had a BFN this morning on IC)

I'm gonna hold off testing again until Saturday at least and getting a FRER test for then - hopefully a nice start to the new year xx

8DPO now also, not long to wait now! I'm going to try and wait for AF this time as my last cycle, I got a strong positive at 12DPO and then AF arrived on queue 2 days later. Emotional rollercoaster!

@acupofteamakeseverythingbetter cycle twins! I can’t lie.. I tested today hahah!! Obvs got a bfn but it was a fun(ish) way to get it out of my system and now I’ll force myself to wait until the weekend at least! Pic attached of my bfpn

Had a Morrison’s shop this afternoon and got some Prosecco for tomorrow eve... one or two glasses won’t hurt will it?! Xx

@bluemagicalsky gosh that must have been very emotional for you. That’s the negative I suppose of having tests that tell us so early but we’re all impatient and just want to know ASAP. I hope you have a bfp and it sticks around!

@TinyPuds yes we are cycle twins!! I’m already a twin in RL haha. I’ve promised myself I won’t buy any tests or have them in the house because I’d be too tempted to test

@acupofteamakeseverythingbetter thank u for a warm welcome wishing u the best as well ty. So far ive just been waking up at night to go loo and craving certain foods. So hopefully in the next few days i can have a few cramps ha ha hoping its implantation .but of course as we aalready know not every women gets implantation cramps nor the spotting so will see we should make another thread when this 1 ends the energy is great girls xxx

I don't know how many DPO I am, I stopped taking the pill on 7th December and have had a whole host of symptoms from indigestion, nausea, swollen feet, tugging in my abdomen and tingly feeling in my nipples. I had all these symptoms in the 2ww of my first pregnancy so I am hoping we have been lucky and get a BFP in the first cycle.

Does any one have any advice on when to test? When I came off the pill the first time AF arrived 28 days after stopping so I am assuming the same this time and planning to test on the 4th Jan but have no idea really.

Welcome @disneymad85 if you had your period after 28 days last time when you came off the pill, you should expect it on 4th January. But it could be sooner or later whilst your body adjusts back to is natural cycle. Do you have any idea of when you might have ovulated?

I have to be honest @disneymad85 I’d be tempted to test now you seem to have quite a few symptoms. But obviously these all could be your body doing it’s thing after coming off the pill. Lots of baby dust to you x

I was going to wait until NYE but i couldnt wait and tested at 11 dpo and its a bfp! im actually in a bit of shock. No symptoms, i hope there is more bfp.

@acupofteamakeseverythingbetter I have no idea when I might have ovulated. I used Ovia to track my cycle last time but until I get my first AF I can't really track!

I am going to try and hold out a few more days as I spent so much money on tests last pregnancy, the wait is so hard!

Really glad I found this thread as I'm driving my DP mad with all the symptom spotting and we haven't told anyone we are TTC 😊
