Hello,

So as the title says really. Been trying 7 months and had 3 chemical pregnancies.

I really thought this was my month. Had the positive tests, everything pointing in the right direction and then BAM I start bleeding.

I just can't take this anymore. I can't take the heartache.

What am I doing so wrong.. there must be something. I just feel so desperately sad.

Is there something that I can do to avoid chemicals..

I'm sorry this is happening. You're eligible for recurrent miscarriage testing so ask your GP for a referral. They check for blood clotting issues mainly but will check your thyroid etc too. I've had 4 losses now (1 chemical) and we've moved onto private tests as the standard ones came back normal. I've got aggressive nk cells and am following a plan to dampen down my immune system. But I'd recommend the standard tests first as it could be something easily treatable. Good luck x

I agree with Venus, ask the GP for tests. When you get your thyroid resutls, ask for the T4 number not just whether it’s “normal”. They may tell you your thyroid is “normal” if T4 is within 0.5 to 5 but to conceive, you need it lower, ideally under 2. So if it comes up above 2, ask your GP for thyroid medication (or a referral to an endocrinologist if she’s not comfortable prescribing that).
