How to distract myself during the dreading 2WW..

I got my positive OPK Sunday morning, BD on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday (I’m exhausted!)
But now how do I take my mind off the TWW!? I’m constantly feeling for symptoms like I’m sure my boobs hurt already which I’m wondering if it’s a sign it hasn’t worked.
Anyone in the TWW now or got any advice? Thanks x

Hopefully it won't be too much longer for you guys! The two week wait is just the worst isn't it? Its going very slowly for me this time!

How are you ladies doing today?? The holidays are definitely a good distraction. I'm 6dpo and having progesterone levels checked today to make sure I am ovulating, which is making me a little nervous about the results. Has anyone ever had this done?

VNttc · 21/12/2020 15:12

Back at work this week so really nice to have that distraction!

I haven't had any tests done so don't have experience sadly. I hear that if you're not ovulating it's a relatively easy fix though? Fingers crossed that you get some good news though :) do you know when you'll get results? How long have you been trying?

jules5232 · 21/12/2020 15:51

@VNttc work is also such a great distraction when you're busy!

We've been ttc properly since March, tracking with OPKs and timing BDing. You are right though- if I'm having issues with ovulating, we should have options. I think my main worry is they will say everything looks fine since the tests earlier this month (prolactin, AMH, and LH) looked "perfect". I should hear back early next week but fingers crossed by then we alI have a positive FRER 😂

VNttc · 21/12/2020 20:16

Fingers crossed for an early positive! When will you test? I've never used a FRER but might invest this month :)

Its good that they're looking into your fertility so quickly though - I'm hoping I don't have to go to doctors because I'm worried all I'll get told to do is lose weight 😭

Hi all, can I join, 4dpo here and driving myself insane with google. You would think that Christmas would be a good distraction but I seem to have more time on my hands!

Hoping to test in 5 days with a early response frer!

VNttc · 22/12/2020 13:09

Of course you can join @wrensandrobins!

I'm 5 dpo today and can feel some slightly cramps going on. Obviously I've googled if this can be implantation cramps this early 😂! Ordered some FRER earlier too so will test maybe 10dpo?

How far along are you on your TTC journey? This month is going much slower!

wrensandrobins · 22/12/2020 19:06

I literally googled 4dpo symptoms this morning knowing that everything I saw would be garbage 🤣

I am on my first cycle but have been doing bbt temps for the last 6 months and ovulation tests the last couple so I'm pretty comfortable with my cycle! First TWW though!

VNttc · 23/12/2020 12:08

@wrensandrobins

I only started temping this month and I'm so confused already! I wish I'd started it a few months ago now so I knew what 6o expect. That said, I don't sleep very well and get woken up a lot so not sure how accurate my temps will be.

I'm 7dpo today and feeling sicky and very emotional (I've told myself it definitely can't be because I'm pregnant because that's ridiculous at this stage).

How is everyone else doing? Getting ready for Christmas? Today we're doing a big clean of the house :)
