Hi girls, I m new to this place and I happy to be part of your community.
I m using Letrizol because of PCOS for 2 months and I would like to know when does our body volulate with Letrizol. When should I expect to be ready to conceive. Does any of you had a pregnancy by treating PCOs?
Thanks a lot for you help.

The way letrozole works is by bottoming out the levels of one of your female cyclical hormones. While you take it, the levels of estradiol in your body are dramatically lowered. This creates a "rebound effect" after which your estradiol returns to its previous level and your body detects a spike -- this spike, in turn, triggers ovulation.

There has been a lot of research on letrozole's effectiveness at different cycle days taking the pills and with different duration of the medication course, but typically you'll be starting the medication 2-5 days following the start of your menstrual period. Typically you will ovulate about 8-10 days after stopping the course of medication. You can get pregnant from sex several days before, or up to 24 hours after, ovulation occurs.

There's no real advantage to DTD multiple times a day. Interestingly, low doses of letrozole administered to men on a once-weekly basis have the effect of doubling to tripling their sperm count, so it's a very interesting drug with potential impacts on fertility in both sexes.

Hi, thank you for your response. Are you saying that I will be ovulating 8-10days after I too l the last pill (my 6th day of the period)? Some websites says between 5-8days. So I m a bit confused which day is the best day for ovulation. Can you help me with that?
