@MrsB2019x hopefully you have a better day tomorrow 🤞

whambam89 · 01/02/2021 21:10

@sansa87 hopefully my 2 days of barely a shadow will turn into a nice bfp tomorrow but I just can't see it happening 😂

MrsB2019x · 02/02/2021 07:02

Marking my place ready for @whambam89’s updated test this morning 🍿

Haha! Me too.
whambam89 · 02/02/2021 07:37

Still just a shadow this morning on ICs, going to assume it's a BFN and will buy a FRER if AF hasn't turned up by the end of the week x

MrsB2019x · 02/02/2021 07:51

@whambam89 How odd! I really do have everything crossed for you x

whambam89 · 02/02/2021 07:59

@MrsB2019x started spotting now so think AF will be properly here by the end of the day 😔 I think I'd usually be inclined to think indents but with the tiny bit of brown spotting I had on Sunday I'm wondering if it's maybe a chemical? Who knows.. onto next month anyway!

SS123456 · 02/02/2021 08:01

@whambam89 I still have hope for you 😊🤞🏻

@MrsB2019x No way that is super cruel! I hope you are feeling better today. I still have a part of my day where I feel sick and I am not that thrilled at the thought of eating food but it is manageable so I'm grinning and bearing it for now. My sickness is a lot better than my pregnancy with my DS so I'm thankful for that and the fact I'm not in an office trying to hide it does help

Fingers crossed this is a bit of implantation bleeding remaining @whambam89 - there's definitely something on those tests.

MrsB2019x · 02/02/2021 10:29

I had spotting before my BFP too @whambam89 so not necessarily out yet 🤞

@SS123456 Glad you’re not feeling as rough with this pregnancy, I’d hate to feel really ill with another child to look after! I still feel quite sick today but haven’t vommed yet so here’s hoping 🤞

whambam89 · 02/02/2021 10:37

@MrsB2019x definitely AF! Feeling ok about it surprisingly. Definitely going to be using OPKs from now on, not using them just caused me more stress - although seems as though I'm pretty in tune with knowing when I've ovulated now without them x

SS123456 · 02/02/2021 10:41

@MrsB2019x fingers crossed your day stays that way 🤞🏻. I'm quite lucky that my nearly 9 year old is fairly self-sufficient so it's not too bad. I raised him on my own for 7 years and always worked so he didn't always have much choice but in the long run it has worked well for us both as we don't live in each others pockets all the time now. This morning he got up (at 6 as he's an early riser!) and had done half of his homeschooling before I had even woken up. He's not perfect but he's a good boy so I can't complain really 😊

Hey everyone

I'm currently cd2, had a feeling af was on its way. So dodgy tests before hand.

I have a dilemma! I can't process all these covid vaccination changes 🤣

I have been offered the covid vaccination through work. The last I heard people trying to conceive should have the vaccination. After just having my 4th miscarriage I am very reluctant atm to have it. I have tried the government page but it's about pregnancy and breastfeeding. What do you all think?

MrsB2019x · 02/02/2021 14:16

What a champ he is @SS123456! ☺️ Hopefully you’ve had no more shit from his Dad lately

@whambam89 Oh no 😔 glad you’re feeling okay about it though x

@krj2688 The last I saw was that if you’re pregnant or TTC it’s not recommended? But not sure if that’s changed since I last looked

whambam89 · 02/02/2021 15:51

@krj2688 the guidelines around it are changing all the time, at the moment as long as you're not currently pregnant you should be fine having it. I had it when I was offered it through work (partially because I didn't want to tell them we're TTC though) x

@SS123456 he sounds like a superstar and a credit to you! X

@MrsB2019x I think because the tests weren't really progressing I half expected it. A year tomorrow since I got my bfp with the ectopic so it would have been nice to be pregnant by now but oh well! X

MrsB2019x · 02/02/2021 16:13

@whambam89 Milestones like that hurt 😔 hope you are okay x

krj2688 · 02/02/2021 17:19

Thank you all! Will have a little look into the covid vaccination then.

Oh gosh my best friend had her 12 week scan today. She's due 10 days before what I would have been. I'm so so happy for her and glad everything is ok, just feels like a kick in the stomach. Totally normal though?

MrsB2019x · 02/02/2021 17:52

@krj2688 100%. I had to block an old college friend on FB because she was due the week before I should have been. Had a bit of a meltdown when she announced. Does she know what happened to you?

krj2688 · 02/02/2021 18:18

@MrsB2019x yeah she does. It's been quite awkward to be honest. We tell each other everything so it's been really difficult to be so supportive. X

whambam89 · 02/02/2021 18:28

@krj2688 it's ok to be happy for her but sad for yourself ❤️

kirinm · 03/02/2021 09:42

7dpo for me and feeling nothing out of the ordinary. I always feel quite nauseous and I'm starting to wonder if I have a hormonal imbalance. i'm contemplating whether to have any blood tests to check egg reserves / egg quality.

I have to say, I'm wondering if I'm beginning to accept the inevitable. It hurts when I hear another pregnancy announcement but it isn't quite as gutting as it was a few months ago. Maybe I'm just completely numb to it all now.

whambam89 · 03/02/2021 16:40

@kirinm I was just thinking yesterday it seems to be getting easier each month. I think I just prepare myself for the heartache before it happens. When will you start testing? X

whambam89 · 03/02/2021 16:45

TMI but AF has been really "clotty" for me so I'm wondering if maybe I have had a chemical and perhaps if I'd tested with a FRER I'd have got a clearer line

MrsB2019x · 03/02/2021 18:38

@kirinm I guess it wouldn’t hurt to have tests done if you can afford it, at least you’d know where you’d stand either way

@whambam89 That’s strange, I guess there’s no way to tell for sure 😔 maybe get some FRERs on standby for next time you get a faint line?

kirinm · 03/02/2021 19:56
@kirinm I was just thinking yesterday it seems to be getting easier each month. I think I just prepare myself for the heartache before it happens. When will you start testing? X
Yeah it's strange isn't it?

I don't have any tests and haven't ordered any. I won't say I definitely won't buy any but I wasn't tempted today. AF isn't due for a while anyway so I have time to prime some if the urge takes me!
